Welcome to Nipotina!
A new neighbourhood Italian in South Audley Street from restaurateur Samyukta Nair, showcasing the talent of Turin-born chef Somaia Hammad. Meaning ‘granddaughter’ in Italian, Nipotina’s menu will blend the duo’s cultural traditions to create nostalgic dishes with family at the core, all made with simple, seasonal produce along with a good dose of Italian soul.
Borrowing chef Somaia nonna's recipes, Nipotina’s menu will feature family classics that she’s been able to make her own. A relaxed and informal dining experience, Nipotina will be home to wood-fired seafood and meats, handcrafted pasta, crisp Nothern Italian pizzas, all-Italian wine list, classic cocktails and warm hospitality. Open early each morning for breakfast, long lunches, aperitivo, late dinners and cocktails, the restaurant will take inspiration from cherished memories made from Piedmont to Puglia.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our evening at Nipotina. Starting from the service we found an extremely polite and available staff, the general manager immediately came to help us understand the menu and make sure allergies were properly handled to the chef who adjusted specific dishes to accommodate our needs. The food was extremely tasteful and visually appealing, I loved the asparagus risotto!!! As for the wine the bottle we chose was out of stock but the option suggested by sommelier was perfect, very good wine at a reasonable price. The atmosphere was pretty loud but comfortable, modern and elegant decor. 10/10 highly recommended

Soup had a hair in it. Had to change 1 plate, 1 fork and 1 knife as they were unclean. Food was bland loaded with cheap truffle oil. Whilst the staff tried their best to be hospitable and friendly, the poor food was the clincher to never return.

What a great find. From the moment we arrrived the staff were welcoming and charming. The restaurant is beautiful, very calm and a lovely ambience. The £25 express menu for 3 courses is a steal. We will be returning.

Wonderful experience Food was perfect , Italian style No buttery or greasy , perfectly assembled with the vegetables and the stuff super attentive too
