   I can honestly not say a bad word about this experience. The food was exceptional and I don't say that lightly, we eat out a lot and this was Michelin star quality, presentation and flavours, the whole package. My only concern for the establishment was the number of people dining but it was mid week and the word of mouth is clearly yet to spread but we shall be going out if our way to recommend this restaurant as they truly deserve success and I hope they achieve it as it would be such a shame to lose this hidden gem of Cheltenhan !

   Fabulous food and service. Everything was well judged and delicious. Highlights were the soufflé, the cod and the beef; and the desserts were brilliant.

   Delicious Moroccan Lamb Stew and great service. A perfect spot to meet a friend for good catch up conversation not drowned out by typical restaurant noise!

   Well, this was my first visit to No.1, and as suspected it was fab. Very warm welcome from Chris and food was delicious. Lovely, private dining feel to this restaurant. Will definitely be returning.

   Welcomed into the restaurant which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A warm greeting from Chris and shown to our table. The food and wine choices are abundant but not overwhelming & there is something to suit every taste. The food itself was exquisite, presented so it was a real feast for the eyes. We opted for the Christmas menu. The dessert of dark chocolate torte was decadent but not heavy, it was like a chocolate cloud. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the whole experience is a real treat. Adrian, Chris and the team are doing an exceptional job and this restaurant is a real hidden gem for Cheltenham. We can’t wait for our next visit
