The trout was memorable and amazing. The pork rib appetizer needed some sort of glazing or something for a char. They’ve only been open a month, and they’re still figuring it out. But it has all the signs of being a star. And welcome addition to the restaurant scene. Service was excellent.

The Noble Goat in Downingtown is a welcome addition to the local dining options. Service was enthusiastic, attentive and friendly, while the food was beautifully prepared and delicious. On this Saturday evening the bright and attractive restaurant was full of happy customers talking at speed, so conversations were difficult to hear -- a good indication of the initial popularity of this very enjoyable new offering. We'll be delighted to return soon and wish The Noble Goat a long and successful run.

Dined 11/26/24 with friends. First time there. Food was outstanding. Trout, waygu burger, risotto, rigatoni all delicious. HOWEVER, at 8:15 an employee began scrubbing the floor of the bar area with an extremely pungent substance. Still at least 30 diners there. My party and I had to leave-the smell being so overpowering and off putting. Not sure why this employee thought cleaning at 8:15 was so important. This may cause me to think twice about returning. Sad.

We enjoyed our first visit to the Noble Goat. The service was very good and the food was delicious. My husband ordered the Tuna Crudo appetizer and the Triple Pork entree. He raved about how well cooked and seasoned the pork was. I ordered the Cioppino and thought it was excellent. Our only complaint is the noise level. Like almost all restaurants now, the noise was so loud, we had a very hard time conversing and hearing even though we were seated directly across from each other. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

So excited to have gotten to try out Downingtown's newest food venue! Can't say enough about the whole experience! The food was delicious and our waiter was great! We sampled their cobb salad/risotto/ pizza and seafood dish. All had their own spin and take- highly recommend this newest gem but get your reservation in early as they book up for regular table times!!

I was so disappointed. I had so been looking forward to celebrating my birthday at The Noble Goat, but it really did not live up to expectations. The space is beautiful, tables nicely spaced and the ambience nice and comfortable. But the food just wasn't up to par. While nicely cooked, the octopus appetizer bore no resemblance to the image featured on the restaurant's website. The presentation was sloppy and the serving size was meager. The beet salad and tuna were enjoyable. Two guests ordered the cioppino which sadly included mussels that were still sandy and gritty. (Management took the cioppino off the bill) The rest of the seafood was reported to be delicious. I might give them a few months and try it again, but given the plentiful choices in the area, I'm not sure I will. I had high hopes for this place.

Good place …. Service was exceptional It will be good once they have their Liquor license but the staff did well to offer options

Very happy to have a new local restaurant with such quality food and service. An excellent job with the overall design and ambiance. The food was outstanding and our server was very attentive and friendly.

Food was amazing! We shared the beet jar and grilled octopus. Then had the Trout and Wagu burger. The vibe is upbeat, yet cozy. It’s a new Downingtown gem!
