Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Nobu, and I was genuinely pleased with the entire experience. The restaurant itself was stunning, with an upscale ambiance that perfectly set the tone for the evening. The food was beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. Our server, Nam, was outstanding—his extensive knowledge of the menu and excellent recommendations truly elevated our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered from the sashimi to the steak.

Underwhelming experience. The dishes lacked visual appeal, and the food itself was rather unimpressive. However, the service stood out - our server was very attentive, and not even those assigned to our table made sure to check in. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant.

I went two days in a row. The first evening was a great experience. Noah was my bartender. He made amazing drinks and provided outstanding service! We ordered 5 items, and 3/5 items came out about an hour after we ordered them. That was really unpleasant. The second night, our bartender was Tiana. She was really nice. For dinner, we reserved patio seating, but I’m unsure that is where we were seated. It looked like an extension of the dining area. If it was the patio, I’m curious to know what it looks like in the spring/summer. The food was terrible. We ordered the ribeye, cooked medium, it arrived well done with a sauce that tasted like a sweet A1 sauce. The Shrimp and Lobster Spicy Lemon Sauce was not good. The lobster was very fishy, and the sauce tasted bland with no spice. We also ordered the Prime Beef Toban Yaki. It came out medium, but the flame overcooked it when it was presented. At that point we were still hungry, so we ate that dish. The sushi and truffle rice were so yummy. I’ve been to Nobu Malibu several times, and had an amazing experience, from the service to the food. The service at Nobu Atlanta was really awesome. However, the food was not. I would only come back for drinks and appetizers.

Probably the worst Nobu location I’ve ever dined at. Arrived 15 mins early and ended up waking 27 mins to be seated although the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Received two appetizers before our cocktail which was overly sweet and thick with syrup. Food was awfully prepared, service was extremely slow and I was overcharged on the Wagyu tacos! Never again!

The ambience at this place was great and the service was wonderful. However, the food is very expensive for the very small portions that you receive. I paid $45 for lobster bites and I maybe got six small lobster bites. Then we paid about $50 for the sirloin steak and maybe five pieces was included in that meal. Just too expensive for the small amount of food that you received. To add the food was just mediocre. It was nothing spectacular. And the sushi was mid at best.

How is the best quality is never second. Atlanta is a growing Nobu. That is my favorite stop when I’m there.
