Came in for my sons 26th birthday. We opted for a custom menu and told our server what we were willing to spend. I think we shared eight courses… every single dish was SUPERB. The reserve Cab was exquisite. Can’t love it enough. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time at the Nobu brunch. We had the last seating at 2:30. The value is very good. There are many sushi options and pretty good seafood options. I suggest some different salads. The 2 they had were very similar but for mushrooms on top of one. The cucumber salad was just ok. Also other than the roast beef and breakfast sandwich there wasn’t much variety and very few vegetables. The roasted potatoes were spicy. A chicken option would have been nice. The dessert table would be better with some fruit options. We kept asking for butter for the rolls but never received any. Also waited a long time for teriyaki sauce. They didn’t replenish the cod bites and ceviche with about 30 minutes to go. They also were completely out of shrimp when we arrived. There should be a reduced cost for the last seating. We only had about 30 minutes to go up to the buffet with the last seating at 2:30. We waited a few minutes for the table then waited for our waiter to take our drink order. You have to love sushi to really enjoy this buffet brunch. It’s very loud with music with a heavy bass playing. Overall good value for the money and we were full but not really satisfied. We were celebrating a 62nd birthday and there was no acknowledgment at all despite the restaurant reaching out and telling me they would be bringing out a dessert but never brought anything. Lots of brunch options in Chicago which we would choose next time over Nobu.

There were 3 people in our party and one person had Celiac Disease and must eat gluten free. 1.) Our reservation was for 1:00 and we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. 2.) The staff didn't really seem to understand what food was and wasn't gluten free. Although there were labels describing the item, no reference to gluten free was listed - - but they did reference gluten on the desserts. Why didn't they labels reference gluten on the rest of the buffet items? I asked about each of the items I put on my plate and thankfully before I ate anything, a staff person told me that 2 items on my plate contained gluten - so gave her my full and said I wanted a new plate so I could try the gluten free items. 3.) the plates were hot - apparently right out of the dishwasher - but not a good idea when you're putting cold fish on your plate. 4.) All of the desserts contained gluten but our server did bring me some moshi - which was delicious, but she gave me a sense that it was a bit of an exception to get something other than what was on the dessert station. 5.) A really nice staffer brought over what she described as a special gluten free whiskey dessert - but I had to tell her that whisky is not gluten free In closing, we were disappointed in the overall experience. My 17 year old niece was so excited to try this brunch as she's a huge sushi fan. I would suggest Nobu either clearly stipulate that they do not address or accommodate gluten free or they do a better jot at educating their staff

Went to the brunch buffet. The food was sub par. Definitely not worth the money. I could’ve had better sushi elsewhere for the price.

From the moment you step into Nobu Chicago, you're immersed in an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance. The service is exceptional, with staff who are humble yet incredibly attentive, making you feel both welcomed and well-cared for. The food is the true star here. The Black Cod Miso is a melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece. The sushi selection, featuring fresh, delicate fish, is nothing short of perfection. The cocktail menu is equally impressive, with the Nobu lychee Martini offering a refreshing twist on a classic. Whether you're here for a special occasion or a night of culinary indulgence, Nobu Chicago delivers an unforgettable dining experience. I look forward to returning in the future.
