    Ordered sake with edamame, Nobu’s daiginjo sake (small), sashimi selection, and shoojin vegetable tempura. Edamame should have come with the sake, but had to order it twice. Sashimi should have come first, also with sake, but tempura was brought first. Tempera very good. Fish cut too thick for sashimi, but not bad. Short changed on the second round of sake. So asked to have sake replentished. Wound up with too much sake. Very pleasant waiting staff.

    Nobu is my favorite restaurant. I have visited them all around the world. I had an unfortunate moment, but their outstanding customer service made it an overall enjoyable experience.

    The food was excellent but the service was terrible. We counted at least eight servers working the not even half full dining room, so it did not appear to be a staffing problem. The slowness associated with every single aspect of the experience really detracted from the evening. Just a bummer.

    We let them set the menu, and tried all kinds of new dishes. I want to go back tomorrow and the next day.

    The food, as always at Nobu, is superb! however, the expense of dining here is now reaching a point of being untenable!

    When I booked my reservation at Nobu, I was hesitant after reading some mixed reviews. However, from the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded all my expectations. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly hellos from the staff, which immediately made me feel welcome. Although I was initially seated at one spot at the counter, I asked to be moved to a different seat, and the staff graciously accommodated my request without hesitation. I started with the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and then moved on to a sushi platter and a few pieces of nigiri for my entrée. Each dish arrived promptly, and the sushi chef took the time to explain every piece while presenting them beautifully. Everything tasted exquisite, and the attention to detail in both the presentation and flavor was truly impressive. To top off the experience, it began to downpour while I was dining. Without an umbrella, I was prepared to brave the rain, but the concierge kindly offered me hers to ensure I stayed dry on my way back to my hotel. This thoughtful gesture was the perfect end to an already outstanding evening. If I could give Nobu six stars, I would. I will absolutely return the next time I am in town. This place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food and outstanding service.
