   Having experienced Nobu in San Diego earlier this year we were excited to try the Scottsdale location. Our server was amazing and anticipated our every need. It was such a fun , exciting evening and every dish tickled our taste buds. The miso black cod never disappoints and the tempura shrimp with creamy spicy sauce was exceptional. For drinks we had a smoked old fashioned and grapefruit on the rocks. Loved every second of our evening celebrating our anniversary!

   The food at Nobu never disappoints, the lobster, OToro, tuna tar tar all great! The service missed a couple steps last night but overall excellent evening.

   We love coming to Nobu and even though we don’t live in Scottsdale, we wanted to have dinner here while visiting. Compared to every other Nobu experience we’ve had, this one was just ok. The food was good as usual, but our service was mediocre. Our server seemed to have more tables than he could handle (not his fault if That’s the case), but wasn’t very attentive or available when we needed help. Out of all the cities we’ve been to Nobu, this one was probably the least impressive.

   I’ve been to Nobu 2 other times in recent months. The difference between the food and service on my most recent visit left much to be desired. The sea bass was wildly overpowered by the vinegary miso sauce and the portion size of the seafood ceviche was markedly smaller than the other 2 visits. Our server lacked the delightful personality demonstrated on our other visits that prompted our return to celebrate a birthday. I don’t see myself visiting again anytime soon. People do not mind paying higher prices so long as the service and food are consistent with the value. The establishment fell quite short this time.
