   We happened to dine during restaurant week and menu was 5-star. The wine pairings were terrific. We’re pleasantly surprised.

   Loved our dinner at Nomad. Tried two dishes new to us: English pea hummus and ramen noodles with pork belly, bok choy and mushrooms, NUMMY! Plus enjoyed a couple favorites, Cesar salad and flank steak with grits. There’s a reason they are favs. Thanks for the wonderful meal on quiet, rainy October Wednesday. We will be back 😊

   The food and service never disappoints! We go here once a week and bring friends when they are in town. In the winter, we often come for the happy hour specials. Bring back the duck fat fries, we miss them:)

   The food was exceptional as was the service. We loved the specialty drinks. I was there in late September and had an outstanding dining experience then too, the chef had different choices on the menu tonight, and once again all delicious. I highly recommend.

   We were so disappointed with our experience at the Nomad. The food was at best poor quality, improperly cooked and way over priced. We ordered the mussel appetizer which included one that was not open and should not have been served. The beef tenderlion was under cooked, had no flavor and was served with ice cold potatoes. The seafood pasta dish contained very little seafood and the one scallop in the dish was raw inside. It was a terrible experience and will never return nor recommend this resturant to any of our friends. A put a damper on the start of a 50th wedding anniversary weekend.

    We’ve been to Nomad a dozen times over the last 2 years and our experience is always amazing. This time we were having dinner to celebrate our engagement and our overall experience was mid at best. Our server seemed like she was annoyed and having a bad day from the start and was cold toward us throughout the evening. In the past, our service here was always super friendly and outstanding and always had servers go above and beyond. Regarding the food, we ordered a salad, potatoes, pasta, lamb chops, and steak. The salad came out for us to share very quickly, then the steak which was one of our entrees came out alone before everything else while we were still enjoying the salad. Even though my partner didnt have their entree on the table yet, we decided to try the steak and it was delicious, however cold in temperature like it was sitting out for a while. Shortly after trying the steak and finishing our salad, our potatoes came out and they were great. Cooked well, and hot and fresh. A few minutes after that, our other entree the lamb chops came out and were room temperature at best, but the flavor was spectacular. Lastly, our pasta came out last and was delicious, but again not hot at all like it was sitting out before arriving at the table. We ordered the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and that was super rich and we both loved it! Overall we gave this experience a 3/5 due to our service being poor and numerous dishes coming out cold and not being timed well when arriving to our table. The food was still delicious as always and we will go back again in a few weeks hoping that our experience is better as it usually is for us.
