We are a small but passionate team who pride ourselves on taking fun seriously. Serving small plates in our restaurant with Will Webster in the kitchen creating tasty dishes to enjoy in our relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Out front relax and let the team headed up by Ted Henderson and Oliver Roberts look after you with our carefully crafted wine list, seasonal cocktails and local beers.

Stunning food, so tasty & original, great wine choices, we had the alberino which was delicious. Great service with lovely staff from meeting and greeting to the departure from the restaurant. Normans had a lovely feel to it and we really enjoyed our early evening meal. We aim to be back soon.

Without doubt the best dining experience within the area - wide area. Absolute perfection, innovative without being scary! Wonderful presentation, delicate flavours - like stepping into the best of master chef! We loved all 7 dishes we tried and look forward to our next visit.

Another amazing evening with outstanding food. The menu is constantly changing which is a really good sign and demonstrates the ambition to ensure there is always something different to try and enjoy.We feel incredibly lucky to have this fabulous restaurant on our doorstep…

Wonderful evening enjoying fabulous food and drinks. A particular favourite is the belly bacon. Exceptional service as always.

Amazing service from the minute you step in this cosy ambient restaurant. Friendly, warm welcome from smiley helpful staff. The drinks selection is really good (especially non alcoholic choices). The food is exceptional quality and really different flavours. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Cracking bistro. Very exciting that we’ve discovered a place of this calibre near where we live. Unpretentious and relaxed, but with love and effort poured into creating great food and delivering fab front of house service. And all at what I’d consider to be excellent value. I’m already booked in next week, but I suspect we may become regulars.

Our first visit at lunchtime as it is more difficult to get a table in the evening. They were celebrating their first birthday so we were presented with a lovely glass of fizz. The food was excellent. Very different from many other places. It was well presented, hot and full of flavour. The service was spot on and the staff friendly and informative. We were able to bring our well behaved dog but wouldn't in the evening. Excellent knowledge of the wine which was adventurous, we have never tried Japanese wine before.

This was our second visit to Norman's and we absolutely loved it, we were looked after from the minute we arrived. The food is outstanding, it's innovative too and there are new dishes regularly added to the menu which we really enjoy. The cocktails are amazing too and the service just the best. This really is a great experience, a great restaurant and we have already booked for visit number three. Thank you!
