   This was the best meal we had in Louisville! We ended up coming a bit early and sat at the bar top for dinner. The servers and bartenders were amazing. So conversational, and went out of their way to maximize our experience. The feature was a bacon wrapped rabbit saddle, and it was unbelievable. I’ll recommend North of Bourbon to anyone visiting Louisville!

   Very unique atmosphere. (A little warm in our bourbon booth). Food was very good. We had boudin balls(good); porterhouse steak (#1 favorite); rabbit (#3 favorite) and gumbo (#2 favorite); shrimp (#4 favorite-was very spicy even when requested mild). We will be back! Also enjoyed the drink with no name!

   This was our first time and we were really looking forward to it. We shared the Caesar, catfish and pork balls, all fantastic. My husband got the halibut gnocchi special and it was phenomenal, I went with crab rice and it was everything I wanted. My son had the sticky quail and that might have been the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life.

   The food is always fantastic. The service this time was just awful. Not sure if the server just spent more time at another table or what but she was ver polite but insultingly inattentive. I will certainly go back but will hope to not have the same person wait on us.

   Cozy, inviting atmosphere. Quiet enough to talk but not stuffy. We were seated in a booth with a barrel vault over the top that made it feel as though we were in our own private room but with a view of the activity at the bar. Hands down the best ambience we’ve ever experienced. Menu is unique, food was excellent, and Sam’s service was absolutely stellar. This is a MUST visit!

   North of Bourbon is a tiny restaurant and so very hard too get a reservation. The ambiance is fun and lively. It was noisy but not so you couldn’t have conversation. The menu is unusual featuring mostly small plates. It was hard to put together a meal, but everything was delicious! I’d go back for a drink and small plates at the bar.

   Small and comfortable ,very cool spot .Everything we tried was a delicious sensation .Superb cocktails galore of all kinds .The food was so good, quality,creative and pleasing ! Def will go back , 100%. Loved the overall ambiance,friendly staff 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

    We had some early issues with getting a cocktail. After the initial glitch, the meal and service were extraordinary. We loved our food: Gumbo, salads and Catfish nuggets. Our group stayed and enjoyed the atmosphere until 10:00 pm. Great restaurant with a cool vibe.
