Set right on the water, Northerlies is Airlie’s favourite beach bar offering a unique experience filled with island vibes, casual brasserie-style dining, spacious event areas, creative cocktails, and plenty of beach for the kids to explore. Their free courtesy bus runs 7 days a week offering private pick-ups from Airlie Beach, Cannonvale & Jubilee Pocket. Book your next event and celebrate beach-side.

The Brasserie kitchen is open 7 days. Lunch is served from 12:00pm- 2:30pm and dinner from 5:00pm-8:30pm, with our 'smalll bites' options available all day. The weekend Beach Kitchen is open on for dinner on Fridays, lunch & dinner on Saturdays, plus lunch on Sundays. Unfortunately, no dogs allowed as we are located on a wildlife reserve.

Northerlies is an amazing venue- more than a restaurant- it is a fantastic Airlie Beach experience! We will back again for sure. Can’t wait.

Disappointed with meals and service. We were a table of 9 xmas dinner. Caesar salad was bland lacked dressing and croutons were stale. $98 rib steak came out more well done than medium and smaller than what expected for a $98 steak also no decent steak knife either. Salmon was over cooked. Lacked service.. They wanted to put us on lawn area, with mosquitos and away from restaurant. We requested a change which we got. Staff we felt were rushing us to get out mind you there was only about 40 people there in total. Probably won't go back again. Have been their couple of times. Time for a change. Just disappointing.. Not sure if they served desserts as we weren't even offered this.

Beautiful restaurant, the food was amazing and the view over Airlie beach was unreal. Unfortunately we pre booked ahead and when we turned up, with a table of 10 our table wasn’t available. We were given other options that did not suit the group as it included children. Staff memeber wasn’t very accomodating with the change. Quite pushy and rude. Real shame. We found ourselves a new table outside and made it work. Wasn’t a weekend or peak busy time either. Overall would recommend just a shame about staff member.

My partner had a negative experience with the bar staff who seemed to have a bad attitude when asked about the cocktail he made. Otherwise food was great and staff was friendly and welcoming. Great spot.
