   Excellent service. Outstanding food. Music was not to our liking and was a bit too loud. Cold draft coming from the doors as our table was right in front. But, overall AMAZING!

   Sashimi and sparkles was extremely disappointing. It took an hour before it was served and the quality and presentation was underwhelming.

   I ordered the lobster fried rice, and when it was served there was not one piece of lobster to be found. I sent it back and they prepared me another lobster fried rice. The second attempt had lobster but while I was eating I found a red rubber band in my food. I sent the second lobster fried rice back and spoke to the manager. The manager was so embarrassed he decided to take care of the bill. He then sent us home with a new lobster fried rice. When we got home and opened the takeaway lobster fried rice , it of course had no lobster on it. We were celebrating our anniversary and this restaurant tried to make it right but fell short again. We were really excited to try this place but i do not know what is going on in the kitchen. Disaster after disaster occurred and we went home hungry. I never experienced this in my life. The manager ( I think his name was Will) tried to recover what was left of our anniversary dinner but the kitchen fell short again.

   Food was very good, wait staff was wonderful. Kitchen was a little slow. Great place to have dinner and then go for drinks elsewhere in south end.

   As always our evening at o-ku was lovley. We did a server guided omakase and it was amazing.

    Food and drinks were delicious. We tried the Lychee Martini, the Mandalorian and the Shogun. For our chief specialties we had the Sourhend shrimp. They were absolutely delicious. We had a few Nigiri options and sushi sushi rolls as well as the Lobster fried rice. Overall, I would definitely return here and recommend friends. The service was excellent and the food tasty!
