Such an aesthetically cool restaurant, yummy food (the broccoli dish was a surprise star of the night), and we had the most exceptional customer service. I don’t always take servers up on their recommendations; but every rec made was spot on. Enjoyed the food, great ambience and the best energy from our server. Thanks for a great night!

Absolutely the best meal I've had in DC! The service is 10/10. We did make a reservation for our anniversary and got seated right away. The vibe feels intimate and there was surprisingly a lot of seating here. The tables are spaced so you're not right on top of each other and can't hear other tables convos. Our server (Zoe) was super nice and gave great recs for apps that were delicious. The drinks were also sooooo good and the portions for food were large. My favorite thing of the night was the ube cheesecake but literally everything we got was 5 stars. To top everything off she dropped off complimentary mini drinks and a HAND WRITTEN!!!!!! happy anniversary card signed by the other employees. will absolutely be returning bc there's so much more we wants to try!!

Felt like we got rushed along. Our sushi arrived a moment after our appetizer and we were never offered cocktails or asked if we wanted to order anything else. The sashimi was a sad few pieces of fish plopped on a plate like they didn’t care. It was room temp. 🤦🏼‍♀️ That said, the space was great, the staff friendly and engaging and the vibe fun. Couples seemed to be taken upstairs whilst we were seated near the bathrooms and the bar. Am fifty-fifty on it.

Loved the ambiance, service and location. Food was good but not a “wow” for me. That’s not saying it wasn’t worth the $$, just think I have had a bit better sushi elsewhere

Sushi ingredients were fresh and delicious, and all made to order. The rice was cold, which was disappointing, and the service staff seemed annoyed with us. I didn't feel we were especially difficult to serve, we had one question about the menu and then promptly ordered food (Moriawase) and drinks with one follow on order for a second round of drinks and specialty nigiri and rolls.The decor was tasteful and the lightning and music both very chic. In summary, a fun night, but I doubt we'll return to spend "amazing meal" money on a "pretty good meal" again.
