   We did not have a good experience. Food - Multiple mistakes with expensive food. First off, our server forgot to bring out the edamame. She got a second hot one. She forgot we ordered the truffle one. Instead of getting a third one made correctly, she took it over to the bar, rolled the cold edamame in a ton of butter and salt and re-served it again. They brought the wrong roll which could have been a major problem given that my husband goes into anaphylaxis with shellfish. The roll he DID order took forever. The server kept coming by to say that they were almost done...except we were sitting at the sushi bar and could clearly see that they were not making his roll. We finally just cancelled it. My sizzle plate was burnt...the meat and veggies were way over cooked and over salted before they even saw the sizzle plate. The person plating the sushi has a heavy hand with sauces and toppings...my roll had about an inch of crunchies on top and you could barely taste the sushi. Service - Our server was very pleasant but just not good at her job. And no one, not even the management, stepped in to help her or correct the situation. Ambiance - Cold. We will probably not be back. We have been to the OKu in Charlotte multiple times and had great experiences but this experience was a fiasco. Even with the 1/3 discount that we received for the meal, we paid over $130 for a sad presentation of what we ordered.

   We were celebrating a birthday, 3 of the people present had never eaten here before. They were overwhelmed with everything, food,service, and ambiance. My wife and I have eaten here many times, and it just seems to get better every time. Thanks for another great evening.

   Experiencing fantastic sushi, great service, and be in the thick of downtown Greenville is accomplished by visiting O-Ku. We’ve had the downtown Charleston location years ago which resulted in us also trying the Charlotte location a couple years later. After that, we were delighted to see Greenville open. Each location is different both in style and menu as each chef curates the finest ingredients and names based on location. Trust me, this is the place to go. We’ve been several times and have had the best of experience each time.

   Almost a 5 stars but we had ordered a bottle of sake and it never came out with our meal. The server apologized but left a bad experience. Would we go back…probably give it another try.

   The sushi is the best in Greenville. Every bite is perfect. The staff are professionals and guide you through the process. This is a foodie paradise.

    The best sushi downtown, food is always outstanding. Bartenders and servers are very fast and knowledgeable. I haven't been disappointed by anything I've had.
