Come enjoy our meticulously planned afternoon tea gatherings in the picturesque Fox riverfront area of downtown Geneva, IL. Our focus on precision ensures a traditional yet elegant atmosphere, ideal for any gathering or special occasion.

Embrace the London chic ambiance with a suggested dress code of dressy casual.

Please note this experience is best suited for ages 3+. Booster seats, high chairs, and changing tables are not available at the restaurant at this time.

Enjoy the winter in our cozy tea room at Oak + Rose on the Fox River waterfront in downtown Geneva. Our afternoon tea consists of an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones & biscuits, as well as petite pastries to compliment a wide variety of premium teas. The menu is prix-fixe with some modifications available (vegetarian, gluten free). At this time, we are not able to accommodate dairy free or vegan requests. A kids menu for guests ages 3-12 is also available. We kindly ask that children joining are able to remain seated. Afternoon tea experiences are for a 2 hour time limit. Drip coffee, water, and select sodas are included. Alcoholic beverages are available for sale for guests 21+. Please note that reservations are only refundable if cancelled more than 5 days prior to your visit. If 4-5 days out, we offer a one time re-schedule. Within 24 hours, we cannot guarantee any type of cancellation as food is procured and created special for each day and weekend. Thank you for understanding!

Enjoy Afternoon Tea with an assortment of finger sandwiches, biscuits & scones, as well as petite desserts. All of course with exquisite tea options. Juice, sparkling water, coffee, lemonade, etc. are included options. Alcohol is available a la carte for guests aged 21+. We will be listening to enchanting live music from harp player, Dawn Bishop from 11am -1pm. Gluten Free and Vegetarian options available. At this time, no dairy free or vegan options are available. Winter Menu: Chicken Salad on Croissant, Roast Beef w/ Peppercorn Gouda & house-made caramelized onion jam, black truffle oil, & horseradish aoli, tomato w/ basil chiffonade on a creamy parmesan butter, & sour cherry jam w/ creme brulee brie on baguette. A blueberry scone, buttermilk biscuit served with clotted cream, butter, and raspberry jam. Dessert is a chocolate lava cake, raspberry beignet, raspberry cheesecake, and choux pastry.

Lovely location! The decor was beautiful and tasteful. The Bridgerton music on point for an afternoon tea. Food was great. Good variety in the each of the tiers, very filling, and delicious. Service was attentive without being intrusive. We will be back!

INCREDIBLE experience and definitely a hidden gem. I’ve been talking about our experience with friends and family and so many don’t even know Oak & Rose Tea Room exists (still so new so understandable!). The BEST service. From the greeting, the attention, explanation of all the delicious tea sandwiches, breads and pastries, the decor, the view, the special attention for my daughter’s birthday… we didn’t want to leave!!! It’s about time a high tea place opened by us. Baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, holidays, Mother’s Day, or maybe you just need something special because it’s “been a week”. I cannot recommend enough!!!

We had a great time at the Tea room. I can’t think of one thing they need to improve! Food and beverages are delicious and bountiful, service wonderful, great light and airy dining room, and awesome ambience,… we liked it so much that we’ve decided to book the venue for my daughter’s bridal shower.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience here! The service was perfect and attentive, the owner was friendly and professional, and the food and teas were delicious! The decor and design are perfect for the overall vibe, and I felt like the price point was reasonable for the experience. We never felt rushed and the whole reservation was lovely from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back!
