   We had a wonderful evening here and the food was delicious. I shared the tuna tartare with my husband -it was a good size serving, very fresh and with ripe avocado, there was just the right amount of sauce and the flavor was excellent. Two in our party had the salmon and were very happy. Two of us had the burger and found them to be perfectly cooked and delicious. The brioche buns and Gruyère cheese brought the burgers to the next level for me and the fries were crispy and perfectly salted. We didn’t get dessert. The service was very friendly but a little inexperienced. We had to ask for water refills several times. We appreciated the valet parking. We will be returning soon!

   Somewhat disappointed. The food was average and nothing special. I wouldn't travel again to go there. The menu is limited and there were no dinner specials on a Saturday night. The service is spotty and the restaurant is manned by an inexperienced young bunch. Prices are on the high side and with your expensive entree there is no bread, but for $9.00 you can buy cornbread. We were a table of 6, so we spent an extra $18.00 on cornbread. Not everyone wants sweet bread with their meal. Desserts are limited and an espresso, which was less than an ounce, was $7.00. We are not complainers but we sent it back. Two sips for $7.00. My prediction is that Oak & Vine will go the way of Cedar Creek and every other restaurant that has been in this spot. On the plus side, the restaurant is nicely renovated, has valet parking, and the bar looked very lively although lacking in standard stuff such as Cointreau. Overall, I suppose it's good if you are local and feel like spending $16.00 on bread and coffee but definitely not worth the trip from Westbury.

   Had a wonderful dinner here with my wife. Starting with the warm greeting from the hostess, the service was exemplary throughout. Our server, Patrick, was very helpful with the menu this being our first visit here. The food was very good, especially the Tuscan soup on special. Dining room beautifully decorated for the holidays. Had a quick word with the owner on the way out. Nice to see ownership out front on a busy night. Will return.

   Visited Oak & Vine tonight for the first time and WOW we were impressed! Beautiful cozy vibes, with lovely holiday decorations. Loved how crowded it got throughout the night, makes me happy to see that location be busy after a lot of change over! While it is a more upscale place definitely, I think its a great addition and perfect for a lovely night out. Really really enjoyed the food and we will be back! Our server Nyzha was also fantastic and very attentive!!

   We live in the area and were going out for Thanksgiving Dinner . The restaurant is beautiful from the outside and there’s a lot of good word of mouth regarding the food . We were greeted and seated as soon as we came in the door and our order was taken reasonably fast . We had wine with our price fixed dinners which included appetizers, entrees , and desserts. Everything was hot delicious and beautifully plated . When it came to dessert we weren’t offered coffee first and we would have also ordered espresso martinis but the waiter plopped the desert down and never came back .We even asked someone to get our waiter so we could place a drink order but they never came back . I think they definitely dropped the ball at the end but our tip was generous and we were polite but I think we may give this place another try one day just on the basis of the food itself . After the first two courses we were ghosts , so we’ll see . Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

   We have been 2x recently and love this restaurant. It opened about 6 months ago. I had the halibut special and it was delicious. Guacamole to start and also I love their roasted carrots and cauliflower small plate. Great place!

   I went to Oak and Vine last night with two other couples. I know this address has been home to a number of other restaurants. The decor was nice and fresh and noise level low-moderate. The menu has something for everyone, including a number of daily specials. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. There is a wide variety of wines, beers, specialty cocktails and mocktails. We started with homemade corn bread (not to be missed). Caesar salads, roasted carrots and cauliflower with ricotta and delicious crusty , toasted bread. For the mains, mussels, tomato soup with grueyer cheese, homemade pasta with seafood and sliced steak . Everyone raved about their meals. Our waitress made sure we were satisfied and our water glasses filled. Two thumbs up.

   The bourbon burger was awesome. The carmalized onions on top had such a great flavor. The tuna tartare was dark pink and could have tasted better but over all the restaurant was very good.

    The place is beautiful with a cool vibe. The service at the host stand was sub par. The hostess didn’t understand my name as we checked in and when asked if we could sit she said the manager was the one who did that. I made my reservation 2 weeks prior to the date and they wanted to stick us in a private room for 8 people They did seat us in the main dining room finally but we had to deal with the other group who were to sit there. They gave us rude comments when walking by and while we were seated. The service took quite long to get water and drinks. The food came out in a timely manor. The appetizers were very good. The main dishes were not. The chicken lacked flavor and a bit undercooked. The 2 orders of pasta were just not good. The tuna was overcooked and when asked the waiter if this was the way it was suppose to be he said yes. Dessert (cheese cake) was not good . The clincher of the evening was paying the bill. It was split 3 ways and one card was charged 3 times, 1 card charged more then it was suppose to and it took almost 20 minutes for them to figure out what to do. Over all this was extremely disappointing from the moment we walked in until we left. Service confused, manager not attentive seemed overwhelmed and food needs help.
