The quality of the food was good but service couldn’t be any worse. The waiter took note of our food order and told us to wait a bit for the drinks. That was the first mistake, us chasing them to get something to drink. We got the drinks and after finishing them during at least one hour wait, nothing else was brought to the table, no entree or mains. We understand it was Christmas Day, but it was dinner time and the restaurant was half full capacity with enough staff to run it. We were starting to get anxious, as one hour is enough time to get at least the starter, but we couldn’t believe when two tables next to us that arrived at least 30min later were getting their food before us. We kindly asked the waiter what was the reason of this long wait and why people around us were eating the same dish we ordered before them. There was no clear answer, only we needed to wait. After another 15min we asked a different staff member, getting the answer that the kitchen was really busy and she was going to check. After another 10 min a different waiter came to our table asking if everything was ok. That was the point when we got really angry. What type of communication is that after more than one hour of wait, 2 previous complains and the restaurant already almost empty? To be honest, we felt like they were playing with us. After one hour and a half waiting, the food finally came to the table, apart from cold, they didn’t bring exactly everything we ordered. In summary, we all can understand it’s a busy day and mistakes can happen when taking the food order or at the kitchen, but what was supposed to be a nice family dinner, it ended up being a really bad experience, particularly considering how no one gave any information, explanation or attention to us. Really disappointed, and for sure I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there in any occasion.

The food is surprisingly good here. The chef during breakfast is very accommodating and pleasant, always remembered me and my preferences. We ate breakfast nearly every morning from the buffet and omelette station (the chef I mentioned) and dinner twice. Highly recommend. The downsides are the music being too loud and governed buy the reception desk, not by the restaurant (on a complete different floor); and there are hard surfaces throughout with no sound baffles so when the music is going and the restaurant is busy it becomes fairly cacophonous.

Service was very slow and the place was not busy at all. They gave us a complimentary bowl of bhuja mix, to apologise for the delay and that the meat just needed to rest. It hadn’t even been cooked at that point. It took over an hour to get our main meal. We asked three time’s what the cheesecake of the day was, but the waiter kept forgetting to check. He should have known it from the start. We ended up asking another waiter. He then said it would take 15 minutes to prepare, which we weren’t prepared to wait for. The did was lovely, but it just took way too long. There looked to be plenary of staff in the kitchen, so it was just frustrating.

We enjoyed the food, the professional service and ambience. It was great to be able to talk easily, with only low background noise, instead of having to use raised voices. The wait staff were really good.
