The Ocean 44 menu is designed with fresh seafood and quality ingredients in mind. The Mastros provide ultra-grade seafood, salmon, lobster, crab, oysters and more. Much of the menu is served a la carte, letting each guest personalize their experience. We had a wonderful dinner at Ocean 44. Our server Michael made our dining experience exceptional. We have dined at the Mastros establishments for years . The experience is something special.

We have visited Ocean 44 sister restaurant Steak 44 and were so impressed and expected the same level of service and food. It just didn’t happen. The waitstaff was ok and the food was about the same. Our sides came out room temp and really weren’t that great. The fish for those at the table was good but not incredible. One of our party ordered the crab topping on their fish and for the amount they got it WAS NOT worth the 68$ for the less than 1/2 a cup of topping of crab. It just wasn’t a great experience. The front reception staff was incredible but honestly I would say the rest was just ok. For a 800$ meal we wouldn’t go back.

This meal was glorious from start to finish. Our server Tony was a delight, extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helpful when asked. We ordered a dozen oysters which tasted like they had just been plucked from the ocean. We also sampled the crispy shrimp deviled eggs, the Chicken Fried Lobster (OMG), the clam chowder, the evening special of crab topped striped bass, the corn brulee (double OMG), and the stuffed hash brown and they were all remarkable. We enjoyed the meal and even though the price point was not insignificant, it was appropriate to the experience. Highly recommend and will be back if we are back in Scottsdale.
