   It’s a very cute restaurant with an excellent menu. Service was outstanding. The food quality was good (not great), but the prices are quite expensive and small serving size is not commiserate with the large prices.

   This was our first time dinning here and the food was delicious. The drink menu was unexpected and the beverages we ordered were well made. The only comment about the food is that it was geared more toward a warm weather or summertime fare. The dishes were light and flavorful, however, it would have been nice to have a more seasonal menu. Richer sauces and heartier flavors would have been a nice option. My negative comment is about the cobwebs and dust. The fan above our table was covered in cobwebs and the wall across from us was even worse. It looked as if they had not been cleaned in quite sometime. This was surprising since the glass door and windows next to our table were spotless, not even a fingerprint. We will dine here again, but probably not until the food reflects the season.

We always incorporate seasonal offerings into our menu, and wish we had pointed out some of the heartier dishes we currently offer such as our Grilled Prime Ribeye with a port wine demiglace, or our NOLA-Style Shrimp and Grits with bacon and BBQ broth. Please accept our apologies if any areas were not as clean as they should have been. We will address that immediately.    Great service, very attentive server and manager. Appetizers were calamari- decent Lobster bisque-great Caesar salad -decent Lobster roll-not great, chewy and no flavor Maple old fashioned -not a true old fashion at all Very nice ambiance in the restaurant Would return and perhaps try a fish entree.

   We have been here a few times, and the service has always been excellent. Tonight they must have been understaffed. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. The food was good though.

   Second time dining at Ocean & Acre. Our entrees weren’t on par with our first experience. Wait staff were spot on, as was the atmosphere.

   Oysters from the raw bar served “properly” with minuet, old fashioned, then surf and turf. Spot on!! Well done Ocean & Acre.

    Food was prepared excellently. Seared Red fish with local mushrooms and finger potatoes and seared scallops. Service was very friendly and professional. Thank you Candace and Diamond.
