Ocean Ended at Platinum provides guests with a friendly, relaxed and elegant dining experience featuring the winning trifecta of stunning views, outstanding coastal cuisine, and memorable service.

We choose seasonal, diverse, locally-caught seafood, much of which is only available in small quantities or inconsistently throughout the season. As a result, our seafood specials are based on the highest quality fish and shellfish available.

All you need to really know is that we’ll be providing you with beautiful, fresh coastal (and some inland) cuisine prepared by a chef who really knows his stuff.
Warm, friendly, and professional service will ensure you have a great dining experience with just the right amount of attention from our staff and wines that won’t intimidate you.

We look forward to welcoming you for a long leisurely lunch, a shorter fixed-price lunch, or dinner with friends, family, or loved ones… which should never be rushed!

Fabulous restaurant. Don’t tell anybody though ! If more, eye level signage was put at the front entrance - more people would know about it.

Always enjoy visiting Ocean Ended for the spectacular views of the ocean lapping so close to seating. Jack, Karl & the team always go out of there way to make you feel welcome; making the dining experience one of the best on our magnificent Sunshine Coast has to offer! We tried the new menu which was enjoyed by all; seafood is fresh & meals well portioned. The decadent Dark Chocolate encased Tiramisu is a must try! 100% recommend Ocean Ended fir anyone wanting to sample Sunny Coast fine dining at its best🙌🏻❤️

The location is decent located at the rivers edge in Maroochydore but it was dark so not much to see and we were seated away from the closest point to the river. We ordered sourdough bread and olive oil dip. I had a bag of 3 day old sourdough bread at home that was fresher. The eye fillet steaks were done very well and the sides of vegetable and fries were good. The wine selection by the glass was good and prices reasonable. Service was attentive. Overall 4 stars.

We had an absolutely amazing experience Ocean Ended. The food was fresh, delicious and prepared to perfection. Debbie was our waitress and she really made the night for us. She was incredibly helpful from the moment we got there, offering to take photos, assisting us to select a wine choice and throughout the whole evening. We will definitely be back!

Amazing new menu, food is exceptional, the view is the best in Maroochydore, service immaculate. The staff knew the menu items very well and our special request for a certain table was honoured. I could not fault it.

There was a brand-new Autumn menu which was not as seafood focused, however the service, presentation and flavours where up to the same high standard.
