Ocean Grill & Bar is in many ways a testimony to the bounty of the sea, the adaptability of creating wonderous dishes from the vast variety of life beneath the waves and the endless multitude of flavors created by cultures all across the world using all manner of natures riches to bring out the natural beauty of seafood. Chef Lea has lived and breathed Key West's very own bounty of delicious seafood for over 20 years. Winning many awards along the way for items like 'Butter Poached Florida lobster' and our signature dish 'Shrimp & Grits', he decided to give back much of what he has learned and create a largely seafood menu with flavors ranging from Cajun/Creole to the far East of Asia. An eclectic gathering of the finest ways to enjoy what we are blessed to have on our very own doorstep. Ocean Grill has a fabulous Happy Hour from 3:30 - 6:30 PM. We ordered all 5 things on the Happy Hour menu and 4 empty plates and did a "share" meal and that was plenty of food. All the food was great, calamari, seasoned fries, Korean beef on a skewer, brushetta and shrimp and grits. There is a "bottomless" wine at Happy Hour served in a huge wine glass with a very generous pour. The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Ocean Grill in KW.

The staff put this place in the five star category. Alex was fantastic. We could not have asked for more. He was attentive (not overly so) and helpful the entire time. He was also very friendly and efficient. The food was great. Some in our party had the crab w/ lobster, and I had the sticky sesame chicken. Both were fantastic. The experience was so positive that we went back the next night. The second time was just as good as the first. The only thing that swayed us form not going back the third night was the menu. If I had to pick a nit, I would recommend a somewhat larger menu or offer some daily specials. If I am ever in Key West again, Ocean Grill would be a go to for me. Kudos to Alex. Keep up the good work.

The staff was not friendly upon our arrival. I was asked a question about table preference then when I answered the host said no. At one point the staff started fighting with each other inside the restaurant- they literally threw dishes at one another which smashed and broke against the wall. We were thankful our table was outside. Food was good but we will not be dining there again.

We’re in Key West at least one week almost every year, but for a number of reasons, this was our first visit to Ocean Grill. The menu has great choices and specials, and they are prepared well. Service was fantastic. Their key lime pie is as good as anyone’s. We’ll definitely be back!

Great restaurant!! Fresh fish, shrimp & scallops and the calamari appetizer were all delicious! The ambiance inside was filled with comfort and music. Service was amazing too! We definitely will return to this great spot in Key West!

Beautiful restaurant in a quiet courtyard shared with other restaurants. Parking is in a mall just off Simonton & Virginia Streets. We ate inside, but the outside tables were also being enjoyed by many customers. We ordered the lobster bisque as the appetizer, and while it could have been a little warmer, it was delicious. For dinner we had the fettucine Alfredo and the Sticky Sesame Shrimp. Both delicious and greatly enjoyed. Our water glasses were constantly filled. I asked for hot tea to finish our meal and it wasn't made through the coffee maker - wonderful. Service was attentive and not rushed. Would absolutely eat here again!
