The service and the atmosphere were excellent. Most of our good was very good to outstanding. However, the Chilean sea bass was not good at all. It was rubbery and stringy flmost likely from over cooking. That should never happen at a restaurant where fish is their main focus.

Ocean Primes’ ambience overall was great. The wait service was great. However, the food was basic. I asked for my steak to be medium well it came out, medium rare the mashed potatoes taste like boxed mashed potatoes. My steak was supposed to be topped with shrimp scampi instead, it was just topped with regular shrimp so overall the food was basic. Therefore, the ambience was great, but it’s not something I will rush back to.

The food was some of the best seafood I’ve had in KC! The cocktails were amazing and the service was 5 star! We had an amazing evening. Worth every penny!

Then Parmesan crusted chicken Caesar was dull , the checker not completely cooking some parts. My friends had the salmon and seafood salads and loved them. I should have stayed with fish. Service was very good. We had a quiet table so overall very good.

The experience was GREAT! We were visited by the executive chef as we had ordered a chocolate milkshake, a part of their company culture. Cameron Mitchell has a great venue here in Kansas City.

Front of house greeter was surly and unfriendly so I was worried. Our table side servers however were absolutely exceptional! My sea bass was heavenly, just perfect. I don’t drink alcohol anymore but still enjoy a well crafted drink and they did not disappoint here either. The chocolate torte was an actual sin, it was unbelievable. We will be back!
