Came for Jazz festive buffet, jazz band was playing at the entrance but we were seated at the very end inside of the restaurant. Only 1 speaker was installed at the middle of that back area so the jazz experience was minimal except when we were grabbing food from the buffet area. There was a pasta bar and nice dessert area; but all the other hot food and cold appetizer options were very limited. The dishes were pretty unique compare to other buffets but there were probably only 5 hot entrees to choose from and 5-6 cold plates. Staff were attentive but the restaurant buffet itself was very poorly executed. The overall set up of the buffet was just very strange and definitely not worth the price considering the food and “music experience”.

I booked regular Sunday brunch for $65/person but I was charged $119 for x-mas edition. I was told that there is no regular Sunday brunch before Christmas.

The food and service was very good. But something must be changed for the long line up to the hot food and pasta. It totally spoilt our dinner experience as our guests just spent time lining up for food instead of having a nice dinner to enjoy each other’s company. Our table of 7 took turns standing in line for food and missing each other’s company. That was really a bad experience for us. We hardly had the chance to have a good conversation with everyone all at the table because there is always someone stand in long lines just to get food.

My experience at the Oceans 999 Buffet was decent, but I was hoping for more variety. While the selection felt a bit limited, the food itself was good. They had a solid range of salads and plenty of healthy choices, including salmon and poached eggs with a creamy sauce. There were also some dim sum items like siu mai and har gow, along with bacon, sausage, and stir-fried chicken. I especially enjoyed the tuna poke bowl—it was fantastic. They had lamb as well, which isn’t my favorite, but it was still well-prepared. There was a variety of desserts, and the shrimp options were great too. The dessert selection was nice, and I enjoyed it overall. The staff was wonderful—no complaints there. They were really attentive. Would I go back? Maybe, but probably not on regular days. I’ve heard they offer more variety during festive seasons, so I’d consider returning then to try the crabs. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but I was just a bit disappointed because I expected more.
