Service was excellent (above-and-beyond warmth, attention and consideration). The best part of a very good dining experience.

Overall experience here was good. Given the great press about being Odd Duck being one of the best restaurants in the US, I would have expected more. First impressions ... The quirky duck figurines are a welcome accent that add to the inviting retro decor. However, the potted plants in the entrance and throughout the restaurant need some serious TLC (maybe we're in between seasons, but when there are dead plants in an entrance, I question the restaurant's attention to detail). #83 Elderberry Gin drink was fine, but ice cubes were so big, they upstaged the spirits. Our waiter, Danny, was super friendly, attentive and familiar with the dishes. We loved the chili crisp deviled eggs so much, we ordered a second round! Tempura Fried Oyster Mushrooms were outstanding. Beet salad was excellent. Lamb dish was dry with a bitter finish. There's a bit of a laid back vibe here, which might be comforting to some folks. However, I think there's a opportunity to step up their game if they want to keep folks coming back. For us, I'm guessing it's a 'one & done'.
