Located on Historic Murphy Avenue in Downtown Sunnyvale, Off The Rails Brewing Co. brings new life to old town Sunnyvale with a modern feel. We focus on the most delicious beer and food we can make, offering craft brews, salads, desserts and specialities made fresh every day with fresh and locally sourced ingredients where possible.

Fresh Local Craft Beer & Food!
All our beers are brewed on site, and food is made by hand in an open kitchen with the freshest, local ingredients we can find. Find us on Facebook or Instagram. Or give us a ring at 408-773-9500. Eat in or take out.

Very easy to book for large parties. Food and drink menu very inclusive, with courteous service.

We sat outside, no table service there you must go inside to order, and they deliver the food. Good beer. I ordered an individual pizza, which in my opinion was undercooked. I love woodfired pizza, but I think they need to understand the inside of it doesn’t always cook like the edges. They had to reheat my pizza for me and then it was excellent! My friend ordered a burger, and she was very happy with it and also the salad she had was excellent.

Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Burgers were very good. Desserts were so-so. Tasting menu of beers is a great value. Enjoyed the wide variety of beers available.

Went there for brunch on the weekend and the food was delicious! I didn't even realize I was done eating until I couldn't find anymore on my plate--I had the chicken fried chicken w/gravy. I've been to OTR for brunch before and it's always been nice and chill for the most part. Also some of the best dark roast coffee I've ever had and always love how prompt the service is for drinks and (reasonable) requests.

The food was ok, but service was lacking. I believe they may have been understaffed, and it took quite a while for our server to take our drink order - and only after I had to wave him over. His behavior was quite odd throughout the evening. The beer was lackluster, and they were out of many options. I would not go back.

We were duped. Reserved a table and when we arrived the was a hand-written “Open Seating” sign and a packed house. Not going back. Too many other options.

Visited on Sunday for Father's Day and was disappointed. There were five of us, we sat indoors and there was not a large crowd at all. A bit surprised once we were seated that a dog was allowed indoors, definitely not a service dog as it barked loudly anytime anyone approached that table. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to the table to take our drink/appetizer/food order. Ordered drinks beers and cocktails and appetizers...took about another 15 minutes to get the drinks and maybe 25 for the appetizers. Ordered food when appetizers arrived so the wait wouldn't be too bad. Food was decent but most of the staff was inattentive for the entire Father's Day family dinner. Bill was about $250, don't think we will be going back.

Went here with friends and kids. We enjoyed the beer and wine. I read on Yelp that pretzel bites were good so we ordered those but they were “meh.” Bland and hard. I got pasta Rossa with grilled veggies. Delicious! Also had the cucumber salad, which was bigger than I thought but also yummy. My daughter got pizza which was better than most brewery pizzas I’ve had. I recommend for a casual meal or drinks with friends. It’s ok to bring kiddos as well. We were traveling so kids weren’t optional in our case. :)
