Ognisko restaurant on Exhibition Road in the heart of South Kensington, is just a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and London Imperial College. Housed in the beautiful Victorian home of Ognisko Polskie club the restaurant is focusing on the cuisines eastern and Central Europe. The bar is open all day serving light dishes as well as mouthwatering desserts. Ognisko’s bar serves a wide range of fruit and spice -infused vodkas, classic cocktails and a small range boutique beers from regional Polish breweries. The restaurant can sit up to 80 guests together with a terrace overlooking communal gardens seating up to 40. There is also a large events space on the first floor available for daytime conferences, weddings and corporate events.

    Poor customer service. Awful looking kitchen (when you go downstairs). We had a table booked and the server said they don’t have a table for us but can put us outside under the tent. Poor quality food. Disgusting

    Lovely venue , congested at entrance collecting coats , starter was brought too quickly we had only just been brought our bread . Mains tasty . Service efficient and friendly . Baked apple in pastry sweet almost underdone . Honey vodka excellent . Enjoyable meal and would come back

    Really enjoyed this meal. It was reasonably quiet early on but got busy later Excellent food and atmosphere. Great service. Our desserts were a bit slow arriving because it had got really busy. The waiter brought us some complimentary quince vodkas. We were just chatting and hadn't complained or even really noticed! Very good ambience for a relaxed lunch with friends.

    We arrived early but were welcomed warmly. All members of staff were both professional and friendly. Comprehensive menu was well cooked and served promptly. A totally outstanding meal.
