In Oh, Panama we play around with the ideas of close by and far away, countryside and urban-jungle, rediscovering and exploring the unknown, on a trip but feeling at home at the same time.
Exactly like the story "the trip to Panama" from Janosch, that the restaurant is named after.
Head chef Johann Maier with his interpretation of German cuisine awakens memories and at the same time brings completely new visions of local dishes to your table. The dishes are related to regional products and do not shy away from exotic flavors.
The beverage program plays an essential role in. The wine list focuses on classic and natural wines from Central Europe and, in its variety, offers the right choice for both: the inexperienced and the most seasoned wine drinker. Exciting and challenging wines are part of the Oh, Panama experience.
The Bar menu is created in cooperation with the kitchen and thus offers extraordinary cocktail pairings that expand the culinary experience far beyond the plate.

We tried the tasting menu with wine pairing. Amazing flavours and wine went very well with the food. Good portions and value for money. Ambience was great, relaxed and Cool, and service was attentive. Only minor point was the fish main course substitute in buttermilk sauce (substitute for beef) was a bit of a strange flavour, perhaps a different sauce should be chosen. Overall A great way to celebrate our anniversary!

Die Küche ist erfrischend eigenständig und wird begleitet von einem kompetenten, zugewandten und sehr freundlichen Service.

Das Essen war super und somit die gesamte Experience. Die Weinbegleitung war etwas dürftig für den Preis.

Sehr leckeres Essen in einer netten Atmosphäre. Die 3-Gänge Überraschungsmenüs sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die optionale Weinbegleitung muss man nicht zwingend nehmen, hier steht der Preis nicht im Verhältnis zur Menge. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder!

Lovely fine dining in relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious and well portioned, we specifically enjoyed the set menue' sharing concept as we were a group of 7. Wine was also perfect. The service is very attentive and subtle and the restaurant is beautifully designed. Also not noisy at all so conversations can be had with ease. Overall a highly recommended dining experience. We'll be back!

Food was very good, exceptional dishes, and wine pairing. Lovely little nook and escape to visit and be transported. Excellent English meant we didn’t miss out any information

I was sent here as part of a birthday present from a friend (coupon/gutschein).I was given the present in 2020/2021 pre covid and the restaurant still honored the purchase. Great. And the food and atmosphere was wonderful. Lovely!
