   I've been to this restaurant countless times and always have had a great experience . But I went a couple days ago with my fiancée and the chef made a rude joke about my weight . Neither of us found that funny and honestly made the rest of our dinner uncomfortable . I've never been the source of entertainment for a crowd of people I DIDNT know and it felt horrible . Not only that but the food didn't even taste like the same restaurant i've been to plenty of times . The chicken was overcooked while the noodles and vegetables were undercooked . After he made his first comment in the beginning the atmosphere changed and he stopped making jokes the rest of the night . I would go back again but not with him as my chef .

   Each Ohjah restaurant seems to be a little different. What I liked about this one was the chef used less oil, and butter, and the food seemed tastier and healthier. I had stopped eating at Ohjah because a previous meal seemed so unhealthy. But this time it was really well made and more enjoyable.

   My husband and I have gone to Ohjah on Lake Mead several times .. each time for the hibachi dinner experience, it has been good ! The waitstaff is highly attentive and chef is entertaining. He always makes the other patrons and us feel welcome. The good always prepared well and my favorite unagi sushi is also done to my liking . We are locals and really like coming here .

   This is one of 3 restaurants in Las Vegas that I love! I arrived very early for my reservation but I wasn’t made to wait. My BF and I sat at the hibachi table and had a private cooking show! I ordered teriyaki chicken and my BF ordered filet minion and the food was fabulous! Even though other cooking tables were booked solid, we still had excellent service! The staff were smiling and courteous and checked on us frequently. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I’m ready to go back!!
