Welcome to Oleum Vegan Kitchen, where Chef Adibe brings a fresh, creative approach to vegan cuisine, inspired by her almost 30 years of experience in the service industry and a deep passion for plant-based cooking. Originally founded in Okinawa, Japan, Oleum is now a Baltimore gem, located just a short drive from the National Aquarium and very close to the Baltimore Visitor's Center.

Our cozy and inviting space offers a welcoming atmosphere for both vegans and non-vegans alike, blending Mediterranean, Spanish, and Middle Eastern flavors into unforgettable dishes. A standout on our menu is the Miso Mushroom Bucatini, a delightful fusion of Chef Adibe's time in Japan and her love of savory pastas, this dish has quickly become a fan favorite.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy an intimate dinner or a special celebration, our friendly staff and beautiful ambiance, complete with a charming outdoor seating area, will ensure a memorable dining experience.

Outstanding vegan food and creative spirit-free drink menu. Everything we had was delicious. My vegan colleague really appreciated the cheese ravioli, something she isn't often able to enjoy. I liked that there were small plates and pasta dishes, so I could try both the risotto (amazing) and a soup. Being able to add a selection of vegan proteins to the pasta was an added bonus. They will be moving to Fell's Point this summer.

Fantastic surprise! Amazing service, a fantastic menu. The risotto was among hte best we've ever had, vegan or no; same with the flavorful mezze platter. The n/a cocktails were also very good. I'll be back.

First time at Oleum and we loved it! Service was A+, as was the food. We had the Penne a la Vodka, soup and salad, and carrot cake. Location is great, ambiance a little strange (inside the mall), but we learned that they are moving to Fells Point soon. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent. We had risotto and two pizzas, all flavorful and fresh. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The only ding was that it's located at an entrance to the Light Street pavilion, so not the coziest locale.

I really wanted to love this place because the menu sounded creative and the location was fabulous. I've been vegan for 27 years and always try to visit vegan restaurants wherever I travel, so I've been to some of the best in the country. Service was was friendly and welcoming, and I was seated promptly since I had a reservation. I was not given a glass for the soda I ordered, but ok, I should've asked for one. Since I wanted to have next day leftovers, I ordered a pizza, expecting a big pie for $25+. I waited nearly 45 minutes to be served a tiny 10" with scant toppings. I ate 2 pieces and took the rest to go, even though I could've eaten the whole thing. I also ordered the "chocolate torte" to go, which was essentially pudding in a plastic cup on a thin layer of cookie crumbs and topped with a drizzle of chocolate. Nope. A torte is "a rich, usually multilayered, cake that is filled with whipped cream, buttercreams, mousses, jams, or fruit." This was not it. It would be a shame if people think this is what vegan food is supposed to be like. Please train your kitchen staff and work on your recipes so they match the lovely descriptions on your menu and complement the gorgeous location.

First time here. Loved the Golden Latte. Few offerers know to mix turmeric and black pepper in order to receive the benefits. Adding ginger and cinnamon makes this double shot drink a great taste and antioxidant. The tiramisu pancakes were brilliant. All servers were exceptional and even the owner spent time with us in pleasant conversation. Glad to hear she wants to move to a better, more upscale location across the harbor. The old mall was a good place to start and Oleum is the only reason to go there.
