                      Legit EVERYTHING was so good but the Carbonara, we had the tuna crudo, bruschetta, the carbonara and the spinach and ricotta ravioli and the tiramisu. everything was so so good but the carbonara it was so bland so sad. otherwise drinks, atmosphere, and service rly good!

                      Came here to this beautiful Italian restaurant in River North for Valentines Day! Good service, great drinks(try the Mezcal drink), ambient was outstanding, a lot of options to pick from.

                      Beautiful restaurant. Lively atmosphere with attentive service. Bread service is nice with the addition of flaky salt and olives. Cacio e Pepe is tasty but could have even more pepper! The ribeye was cooked well and nicely seasoned! Enjoyed the Parmesan potatoes and salad that accompanied the steak. Service was excellent. It was valentines night and we were in a hurry to get to the theater. The server spaced out our meal perfectly to not feel rushed but also got us out in time for our show!!!

                      I had written a review on our first experience dining at Olio. The summary on first experience: Great Service. Great Ambience. Subpar food. Olio had personally reached out and offered a complimentary dinner for 2 to give them a second chance. Unexpected and very gracious of them. The second experience was much better. Again, Service and ambience was incredible. Their Old Fashion was outstanding. Their appetizers were phenomenal. Their pasta entrees were better than our first experience. The pasta here is firm. That seems to be a preference, not mine particularly, but if that is your style, that order the pasta. Dessert was amazing. The people here are very kind.
