Had the two platters as usual, and they continue to evolve and improve with new items. Relatively quiet, especially if you sit outside.

Very disappointed. Oliv Pit is by no means a 'fine dining' experience, in ambiance, food or otherwise. Tables are very close together, with other patrons banging into your chair every time they shift. We were placed at a table near the refrigerator where the wines are kept, so every time a server needed to pour a glass of wine, they came very close to our table. Food was not prepared well (salmon was undercooked and needed to be sent back, potatoes were 1/2 cooked). Although some meals come with 2 'sides,' their version of a side greek salad was literally 3 pieces of lettuce, 1 tomato, and nothing else. When we asked if that was the 'side' greek salad, they brought a different small bowl of a traditional greek salad, but only for one of us, even though we both ordered one. We wanted to try this restaurant, but definitely would not go back. Extremely disappointed that we made the mistake of trying this spot for our anniversary......oh, and no acknowledgement of our anniversary either, even though we noted it on our Open Table reservation. Why ask us if we're celebrating anything special if you're not at least going to acknowledge it.

Great spot to experience some delicious Greek food. Great menu choices from light fare to full dinner.

They did not honor our reservation for 7 pm after we waited 30 minutes. They were not that busy but nobody was in charge. The service is the worst since they opened and I heard the food is still good but i couldn't tell you because we never got seated after waiting 40 minutes past our reservation.

This was our 3rd time back. In the past we overlooked the service because we enjoyed the food. Saturday we arrived on time for our reservation and was told to take any table we wanted. Service was all downhill from there. Wine took 20 minutes to arrive after asking for it several times. When I ordered I specifically asked for the salad first followed by the entree. Not an unusual request but I knew from past experience. Salad arrived and then 2 minutes later mains arrived which I refused to accept despite some nonsense back talk from the older male waiter. The service staff is awful. I don’t want to be served by a 16 year old that doesn’t know what he is doing or a waiter that doesn’t care. My tip to ownership is replace and train your service staff before they put you out of business. Not rushing to return.

Such bright lights no ambiance. Food was completely overpriced for mediocre quality.

We are vegan and were blown away by the authentic and delicious flavors of their fare!! The lovely mom & papa in the kitchen make you feel like you’re eating in their home. May gave us fab service & we left so very very satisfied. What a gem!! This food is top draws even gluten free pita!

Took parents for Valentines Day. Used to be one of our favorite places. Evidently new ownership and chef since Christmas. Awful service- 2 servers working the place, took over an hour to get food which was cold, and platters didn’t have all the food. Had to speak to chef/ owner who didn’t believe me and had to come out to Tavel to show her how she threw the food on the plate and how she didn’t provide what was on the menu. Server took $48 off bill. Now simply THE PIT

Honestly, my husband and I were so disappointed with our dinner last night. It took forever to get our food but once it arrived it wasn’t even delicious. We came here about a year ago and we loved our dinner. I am not sure what went wrong. It wasn’t even crowded so I’m not sure why our food took so long. At this point, I hope that they can get this restaurant back on track. Really disappointed:(
