    My father came up from Melbourne this week to visit and wanted to try Italian cuisine here. Out of all the Italian restaurants we decided on this place. First off, you know the restaurant has "old school" ettique when the head chef meets and greets customers at the front. Obviously runs a tight ship in the back-of-house. The ambiance is warm, cosy and inviting. The wine list is good with a decent selection, from entrees, antipasti to mains is all quality. In my opinion they should change up the ragu from mince to slow cooked beef cheek but nevertheless the experience was something my father wouldn't forget he had a wonderful night, the staff are courteous and lovely. We did go early in the week on a Tuesday night and it was busy. The noise level was more than you'd expect on a Tuesday but quite honestly you quickly get used to it on the simple fact everyone there is having a wonderful experience there. Anyway I'm just glad my father had a wonderful experience there and if he ever comes back to Brisbane I'd be sure to bring him back.

    Outstanding in every way. Impeccable Italian food & service in an extremely charming setting. Angelo conducting proceedings as a true master of hospitality. One must doubt if a better version of Happy Birthday exists in the Brisbane culinary scene. Always our go to Italian whilst in town. 10/10 as usual bravo.

    The setting had a beautiful ambiance which is what originally attracted me to the place . The food was nice although I do think expensive for what it was in comparison to other nice Italian restaurants I have visited before . I ordered the veal as often not found on too many menus now days and was a treat to myself - it was nice but quite a large meal and probably why expensive but too big for me to eat it all. When asked if I could get a container to take remaining home the waitress misunderstood and had it thrown out which was very disappointing particularly given it was a $70 meal and half of it was still on the plate - so wasn’t impressed with their mistake at my expense! Other guests said their meals were lovely and no complaints and plentiful . Otherwise service was good besides the one hiccup and lovely how they make those celebrating a birthday feel special with their singing.

    we went for valentine's day and i think they overestimated how many people they could accommodate. the wait to get in for our reservation was quite long, we were sitting upstairs where it was uncomfortably warm. we had to wait a while to get water but everyone was very lovely and very busy. our first course came quickly but we waited about an hour and a half for our mains. we had the loveliest waitress whose name i sadly can't remember, she made the wait so much easier and recommended a new drink to me after i didn't like the one i ordered. she was the absolute highlight of our night. food was yummy but not blow me away, worth the wait, so glad we came here yummy. cannot emphasise enough how lovely everyone was though.

    Went there for Valentine's dinner 2025 , I guess they weren't ready for this much costumers and the service was super slow. It took them 1.5 hours to bring us a steak! The place was really hot as well but I guess mostly because it's an open space and they couldn't manage this better. In terms of value for money I think the portion and quality of the food doesn't justify the price tag, even though it was Valentine's. We ordered steak with adds on tiger prawn and bug and the prawn was more of a kitten than a tiger (size wise) The steak was too thin and not a premium cut as well. All in all I don't think we go back there. A bit disappointed.

    Waiter forgot to get our drinks twice and forgot about the bill. Took 45mins to recieve our drinks and having to ask 3times. Food was expensive and decent

    Good food, ok service. Valentine’s Day experience was disorganised and we experienced some long wait times, however our server dealt with this well

    We’ve been here before and had a wonderful time however the recent visit was awful. They packed too many diners into a small space, poor ambiance, and not the best meal. It seemed to be a big valentines day cash-grab by the restaurant!
