Rather disappointed. Booked table for 1.30 pm but then noticed ion website change that it closed at 2 pm. In fairness we were told we wouldn’t be rushed but cafe did empty and cleaning going on round us. V restricted brunch menu and overpriced eg extra £2 for an egg on avocado sourdough. Supposed to be poached but was fried. Meal was cold and took a long time to arrive. Staff were pleasant but didn’t seem to be enough of them. Eg after asking for condiments we had to get our own from neighbouring table. It may be that sunny but cold day had brought people out in unanticipated numbers and cafe caught unawares. Overall plus the high parking charges in Stanmer Park., we will not repeat this first visit.

We were disappointed by the limited brunch menu and the time it topple for it to get to us. We appreciate that they had decided not to serve lunch because of the illuminations later but then couldn’t understand why, the restaurant was almost empty.

We were excited to try eating at the One Kitchen but the service was slow, the staff disinterested and the food was cold. We ordered 4 cooked breakfasts from the Brunch menu, they seemed as if they’d been sat out on the side for ages before being served to us, the eggs were rubbery, the toast was stale, the mushrooms were like cardboard. It was disappointingly bad. The manager agreed that the quality was poor and apologised, she didn’t charge us for any of our meals.

Very friendly staff even though they had a full house and were under pressure. The meal was good and we all enjoyed it. Thank you.

Unfortunately whilst the setting at The One Garden is beautiful and the dishes were nicely presented, the food itself was lukewarm. Very disappointing.

Food was really lovely but service let it down. Small plates came out 15/20 mins apart which wasn't ideal. Overall it wouldn't put us off returning.

Took two of my granddaughters to see the Halloween garden trail which was perfect for their ages of 5 and 8. We had booked lunch as part of the visit. Great food, very friendly service and nice atmosphere. Good to discover that children could eat for free over half-term.

A delightful location and enjoyable outing for lunch but let down by very slow service. We have been several times and each time have waited 30 to 40 minutes for food. The food itself when it comes is unusual and very tasty but we have decided not to have lunch any more and just stick with coffee.

Lovely setting, beyond slow service throughout meal and poor welcome from staff on arrival, left standing at entrance for a while, very average food, no daily specials available, overall disappointing.
