It was our 30th anniversary, and being new to Waco, we wanted a special restaurant to celebrate. I expected a 5 star experience, and did not get there. I had called ahead and asked if a small dessert could have a candle, and two champagne glasses. This did not happen. Marcus, our wait person was excellent and you should ask for him as your wait when you go. This is a solid 4 star experience, but this evening it was not a five star…. JW

Steaks, salads, risotto, wine, desserts and service(Luke) were excellant!! Lobster bisque needs more lobster and brussel sprouts needed to be cooked slightly longer. Its a nice, classy resturaunt with excellant atomosphere, food and service. Most patrons were dressed business casual as stated on Open Table, but a few males were dressed very casual and one was wearing a baseball cap inside this nice resturaunt after 6pm. I don't believe business casual includes baseball caps so I hope in the future patrons honor the dress code or post on front doors and website as a reminder. It is a nice resturaunt so I hope Wacoans remember to dress up, not down.

It was my parents 57th wedding anniversary. The waiter could literally have cared less we were ignored. Most of the night drinks were forgotten. My food came out and it was rare, not medium like I had asked so they microwaved it, and it was still very rare. Our drinks were forgotten many times. My mom asked for fork and it took I could you not at least 20 minutes to get that for her. My father, who is always a 25% tipper looked at me and said the most I will tip him as 10% because this was terrible. We will never go back.

Incredible service, amazing food, knowledgeable and attentive staff, beautiful location and interior, One Thirty Five is the number one place for fine-dining in the Waco area. Christopher, the Bar Manager, was wonderfully knowledgeable of their wine and pairings, and personally curated a dinner and its pairings for me and my girlfriend’s date. Truly, it was an amazing experience all around and made for a very special night. I would HIGHLY recommend One Thirty Five to anyone who is looking for the perfect place to impress your significant other, or who are looking for the best upscale dining in Waco. Thank you so much One Thirty Five for an unforgettable evening!

After two previous experiences, our annual birthday celebration was highly disappointing. The quality of food did not meet the $225 dinner for two price tag. The steak was dry and overcooked and sides were subpar. Our check was brought out before the dessert (that came with the Chateaubriand for two ) took significantly longer than usual. It was noted in the reservation and to our waitress at the beginning of dinner that we were celebrating a birthday. In our previous experience a happy birthday dessert was brought out and with this experience dessert was served as a normal dessert.

Our waiter Thomas was excellent! He was very attentive with a great attitude. We really enjoyed his services and never left with us an empty drink. Please makes sure you give him "KUDOS". We always have a great experience when we dine here.

Great experience for our anniversary! Oysters were fresh and delicious, lobster bisque was just OK. My wife had the seafood grill and loved it, I had the 8oz tenderloin and a loaded baked. Tenderloin was the higher grade and delicious. Baked potato needed more butter and toppings. Drinks were fantastic and we were well taken care of. Great ambience for a special occasion.

My husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our 19th anniversary here and we had a wonderful time. I had the pecan crusted Chilean sea bass with the risotto that was delicious. We also had the lobster macaroni that did not disappoint. My husband had the steak and crab and of course I had little taste and it was also amazing. We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious menu items.
