"One98Eight is nestled in the hamlet of Dead Man's Flats, Alberta. We love our community and are proud of where we live, which led to the creation of our name: Highway 1, Exit 98, District 8. Our menu is inspired by local adventurers who are constantly on the go and needing to grab a quick bite or looking for a relaxing spot to refuel. We are currently serving breakfast and lunch and dinner. Our dishes are carefully crafted with quality ingredients, supporting other local suppliers as much as possible. We make freshly squeezed juice and lemonades to order for you to enjoy while on the road or taking in the views that surround our restaurant."

Excellent brunch! I had the vindaloo pork Benny (hot and spicy as I was warned, and quite delicious!) however it came with absolutely no sides of anything…some greens, or tomato, or a bit of fruit/yogurt to cut the heat would have been great accompaniments. Also had was the salmon Benny, and breakfast burrito and tacos. All had rave reviews!

I will be going back to this gem of a restaurant. Andy serves food so fresh and delicious and beautifully presented. Betty is welcoming and efficient. My new favourite place to eat.

I keep on coming back to this place because it NEVER disappoints! The food is some of the best food I’ve had in the Bow Valley and the service is impeccable! 10/10 experience every time!

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Banff. I am so glad we did. The food was spectacular and the service was great. I can't wait to return to try the dinner menu. I can't recommend them enough.
