One of the best restaurants in Santa Barbara. We have been a few times for special occasions and it has always been fabulous. Great food and service and cosy atmosphere.

Opal has been a favorite restaurant of mine for over 10 years now. Wonderful ambience, varied and delicious food, great wine menu, and professional and friendly staff. Bravo once again, Opal, for another great meal!

Those phyllo shrimp are calling my name- Tim at the bar chose a perfect Sancerre to pair. I love Opal and Richard always makes me feel welcomed!

Opal is such a warm + welcoming place . Something very comforting in their excellent preparation of the most fresh seafood + their beef dishes as well. Atmosphere relaxed + uncrowded, excellent service + lighting makes for perfect ambiance. Thanks

The service was over the top. The server Lourika came by multiple times to check in and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We followed her advice when ordering…Wow! What great food and service. And thanks Laurika!

The best meal I’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent as well. Wendy served us and I went with her recommendation of the Chilean sea bass. Wow! It was blackened and served on top of a white bean puree. Incredible blend of flavors! Risotto and Al dente veggies were delicious as well. We noticed the attentive owner flitting about making sure his restaurant ran smoothly—and it absolutely did!
