   An amazing dining experience from start to finish. The depth of flavour was incredible and the staff were really friendly. We even managed to get a photo with Aktar on the pass. We will definitely be returning

   Visiting Opheem is a true gastronomical experience. Overall we enjoyed the 10 course tasting menu which included a number of pre-meal amuse -bouche tasters. The attention to detail is incredible and the work that goes in to presentation is outstanding as you would expect of a Michelin star venue. Service is first class and they very kindly tweaked some of the course selections due to food allergies. Although most of the courses were a taste sensation we found 3 courses (monk fish/ bread/ hoggett) something of a miss which was disappointing. This may be down to individual tastes however we were aligned on what worked and what didn’t. Given the price point I couldn’t say overall this was good value although was something we will never forget.

   Absolutely outstanding. Superb food, and the warmest of welcomes from Aktar and his team. The food that comes out of Aktar’s kitchen is sensational. Whatever he and his team do in there may well be some kind of witchcraft. The Aloo Tuk alone is like little you will have tasted ever before. Not so cheap, but for this level of food and service, it is in my view absolutely worth the money. Smash that piggy bank, cash in that ISA, butter up your rich Uncle Desmond, but do try to experience this amazing, amazing, phenomenon at least once in your life.

   Incredible! Our visit to Opheem exceeded our expectations From start to finish we couldn't fault it We arrived to be seated in a cosy and inviting lounge where we were offered a selection of delightful 'snacks' that we ate whilst enjoying our drinks and waiting for a table The snacks hinted at what was to come and increased our excitement to experience the rest of the menu We were not disappointed! We had the 10 course taster menu and wine flight The food was stunning in both taste and presentation and the wine perfectly paired The staff were skilled at making you feel at ease with gentle friendly conversation and humour making sure we felt comfortable and relaxed whilst we ate We cannot fault Opheem and would highly recommend as this reframes what you think you know about Indian cuisine and opens a door into another world in terms of culinary adventures !

   Having recently dined at Le Manoir and Sat Bains we had high hopes for Opheem with its recent 2 star award. At first I was disappointed, no one greeted us and the service was awkward. Hand towels were overflowing in the loo and no toilet roll. Not what I was expecting. However the snacks began to arrive and were amazing. We went through to dine 10 courses with the wine flight. I have to say we loved our Georgian sommelier, he was amazing as was one of the young chefs who presents us with our food.They had character and you could see they loved what they did. The food was delicious and well balanced as was the Syrian red wine. Yum. My husband said the potato dish was stand out for him. I did notice that Aktar himself presented some dishes, but sadly not to us! The ambience of the place was very nice. With the open kitchen and prep areas. I want to use the words mind blowing, thought provoking a real journey but I felt is fell a little short or my expectations were maybe too high. But all said well worth a visit, please try for yourself

   Food and service was amazing! Really wanted to see what a Michelin starred Indian was like and exceeded our expectations. The little snacks in the bar area were delicious and really readied us for the main event in the restaurant! Stand out favourites were the hogget and the aereated paye on the bread. Wine pairing was amazing effect to compliment the dishes and beautiful desserts not too sweet but sweet enough! Loved it am sure we will be back!

   This was our 5th visit to Ophems. We had our snacks in the lounge area, but had a long wait nearly an hr before getting seated in the restaurant. Snacks though delicious! In the restaurant we had a nice table in front of the kitchen. Unfortunately the noise from the rest or the dinners was so bad we couldn’t hold a conversation with our guest and had difficulty hearing the description of the food . There was also an annoying door banging to in the kitchen . However the food and service was fantastic. Realy hope something can be done about the noise when busy . Not the best dinning experience on this visit just a table in a very noisy restaurant.
