When you come to Opheem, you get an insight into the inner workings of my mind. We’re striving to push the boundaries with Indian flavours, but with cooking techniques from all over the world, some traditional, and some very modern. At Opheem, I’ll be using the same paints as I’ve always done, to create a very different picture, on a very, very different canvas. Why? Because to evolve and adapt is what makes us human, and cooking is what sets us apart from the animals.

For one night only, we are pairing with our great friends at the Macallan for an incredible Birmingham Restaurant Festival Supper Club tasting menu & whisky experience. Exploring the flexibility of the most prestigious Scottish whiskey alongside our vibrant Indian flavours to create something quite unique. We want this event to be great fun and encouraging friendship so will be offering just one sitting with snacks in our lounge served to the entire room before moving through to the restaurant for our full tasting menu with some communal tables with a selection of paired with specially crafted selection mixed drinks using the Macallan.

Fantastic flavours, some dishes just popped in your mouth. Attentive team too, 10 course taster plus a few little extras to finish off in the lounge later. Quite filling near the end but manageable for a special day out. Worth a visit, a really lovely experience

wonderful evening - the restaurant is beautifully laid out with the bar and the dining room which balances the spectacle of the chefs preparing the meals and sufficient space between tables - an excellent room. The food was stunning with plenty of amuse bouches - each course was stunning in its flavours and the matching wines well chosen. memorable and not to be missued
