Celebrating our 50th year, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar, and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

    We had an incredible time at Ore House! Our server, Will, was awesome and super helpful. He had great suggestions and just over all took great care of us. We will definitely be back!

    I really liked the place overall. They played great music and we enjoyd the salad bar and the speciality breads. The service was also appreciated as there was a good balance of not being intrusive vs rushing us etc. The food was decent but for the price it didn't knock our socks off. My husbands steak was very thin and he didn't enjoy it much. My daughters filet came out overcooked but we just ate it at that point. I had the fried shrimp which were perfectly cooked but the breading had no flavoring. We all did enjoy the elk and bison meat platter and I highly recommend. The wine selections were lovely as well.

    Food was amazing! Lobster was the best I’ve had in a while and the prime rib was cooked to perfection and not fatty at all. Excellent quality. Josh was an attentive knowledgeable and very nice server. Service was outstanding. Salad bar was a fun, clean and well stocked blast from the past. I can’t wait to go back

    Great family dinner by the stone fireplace in the dining room. Everything was delicious, generous portions and very good service. We loved the historic and rustic ranch atmosphere.
