   The decor and views of Birmingham were amazing. The food was exceptional in quality. However, one of our group was vegetarian. There was only one starter and one main she could choose from the Sunday lunch menu and although she thoroughly enjoyed the taste of both, the portion size was extremely small compared to the other dishes around the table. On the opposite side of the scale, the size of the roasts and the vegetable accompaniments were plentiful. Overall a very nice set menu lunch, but the portion sizes for the vegetarian dishes should be increased to warrant the same price tag as the larger meat and fish options.

   Great food and service as always. However the background music (played by DJ) was a tad loud for table conversation.

   Great restaurant with obviously a super view across Birmingham, but the food is really good too and the service is great

   I absolutely loved my first visit here. I've lived in Birmingham 27 years and never seen my city from such a hight. a real thrill and a window table made it truly special especially on a clear night. Food and service in particular were impeccable

   Service slow Accepted cash and for some ridiculous reason do not give change which silly person brought in this stupid rule

   The service was absolutely awful. The starters were brought out while we still had plates from the snacks, which hadn’t been cleared away beforehand. The starters were then plated without clearing the table properly. We had one vegan in our party, and when the waitress asked if we wanted bread, we said yes. However, it was served with non-vegan butter, and there were no vegan alternatives such as olive oil provided. We waited for well over an hour for our food, which was only the Sunday roast they were serving. When it finally arrived, all the vegetables were cold.

   Sunday lunch was not the best and expected more. Beef stringy (already sent one back due to fatty pieces served), vegetables cold, no flavour in gravy. Service poor. Disappointing.

    This is the first time I’ve been to Orelle. There were 6 ladies celebrating our friend’s Birthday. The food was excellent. The whole ambience of the restaurant was fabulous and Birmingham looked wonderful lit up when it went dark. Wonderful views. I would certainly come back here for a special occasion as it’s not a cheap meal out!
