We visited this restaurant for my mother’s birthday, hoping for a great experience, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Although the food was good, our reservation was for 9:00 PM, yet our table wasn’t ready until 9:25. To make matters worse, we were seated in the covered patio, where the heaters were not working, and they couldn’t fix the issue. When we asked the manager for a table inside, they were unhelpful and rude instead of offering any solution or even an apology. We expected better hospitality, especially for a special occasion, but the poor service ruined the evening.

Was charged for the dish that was taken away from me, after I complained it was too salty (no replacement option was ordered). I’ve never experienced anything similar at a restaurant before.

We have been to the restaurant a few times. This will be the last. The service was horrible, it took 20 mins to get our drinks, and then 40 for our food which came cold. There was almost never a waiter in sight. Very dissapointing overall, would not recommend.

We were 5 and we all enjoyed our dinners very much. We had pizza, pasta, fish and Caesar and all were very tasty and generous portions. So much so there will little bags going home with us. The service was friendly and very professional. We have been to Oretta many times and we will be back many more times.

We dined at your establishment for Valentine’s Day and were aware that the special dinner package included two appetizers, entrees, and desserts. However, when making the reservation, it was not clearly communicated that the dishes would be pre-selected from a limited menu. I had expected to be able to choose from the regular menu, which left me disappointed with the limited options provided. As this was a restaurant I had been eager to try for some time, none of the choices offered aligned with what I would have selected from the regular menu. Additionally, although I had requested a different seating arrangement when making the reservation, we were seated at the bar near the front of the restaurant. I was informed that this was due to the high volume of guests, which did not align with my initial request. Overall, my experience did not meet the high expectations I had based on the positive reviews I had read. While I may consider visiting again to try the regular menu, I am uncertain given the abundance of excellent dining options in Toronto.

My husband and I have dined at Oretta several times before and have always completely enjoyed which is why we chose to come here for Valentine’s Day. Sadly while the sever was good the food was not. The food had little taste like it was under seasoned and my 11 year old son could have plated the dessert better. A sad experience when we’ve enjoyed so much previously.
