   I really enjoyed Oretta after taking my family there for dinner after a Matinee at PWT. The food was excellent and the ambience was great for two adults with two children (6) and (9). The staff was very friendly and made some excellent recommendations for entree and appetizers. My son has a tree nut allergy and the kitchen even offered to make him a modified tiramisu dessert with no hazelnut chocolate. While he opted for the sorbet, I thought that was a really nice gesture. Would recommend and will be back again.

   We booked six of us for 6pm after attending a play. Lovely quiet nook near the back of the restaurant. It got noisier when a table for 14 showed up later, but the quality of the food and the staff overcame that. Great time.

   The service and the ambiance were fantastic. We were running late because of the usual weekend downtown Toronto traffic and the staff was very accommodating in helping us to push out our reservation time. The wait staff was especially intuitive and attentive, providing seamless, excellent service. Love the look and feel of the place; great place to dress up and go to with friends or on a date night or to celebrate. Note that you'll have to budget on the higher end but it was well worth it. Would highly recommend!

   We were a group of nine, but when the main course was served, only eight meals arrived. After waiting about 10 minutes, I had to flag down a staff member, who informed me that one dish had to be re-made. This should have been communicated proactively instead of me having to follow up. Additionally, several guests mentioned their food was cold, and we had to send one dish back to be warmed up. While the food and atmosphere were excellent, it seemed the restaurant was not fully equipped to handle a large group, given the timing issues and cold dishes.

   Over priced for the quality of food. Servers were very cold. Ordered the octopus and there wasn’t much on the plate. The calamari appetizer was served with a side of mayo.

    The food was not worth the prices and it was not that good. But the place was pretty and the servers were nice
