Slow service. Flickering disco lights due to an “electrical problem” through the entire meal. We weren’t offered a seat in a different section. We weren’t offered a discount. We were however offered the option to tip before our card was run. Orion’s Roof has been on a slow decline, but has just taken a steep nosedive into completely classless territory.

The food was AMAZING! The hostess was so nice and inviting. We were seated 20 mins early. It was really cold in the back of the restaurant by the windows and the lights could be a little dimmer. Everything else was perfection! Great date night spot.

Was a little disappointed with the lack of accommodation for gluten free options and substitutions. We were there for Thanksgiving so I know the menu was limited, but the waitress did say most of the sushi rolls were on their normal menu. But none of the specialty rolls were celiac friendly. So I paid way too much for a California roll that was just ok. Though the Korean corn was the bomb even if they couldn’t give me the taro chips because they fry them in the same oil as their tempura dishes. For an expensive restaurant like that, I would’ve expected they had room for a separate fried to accommodate allergies and make a specialty roll for us with allergies instead of only offering a basic roll that we can eat anywhere else.

We were so fortunate to have Katie (Kathryn) as our server. She’s the best!! From the professionals on the host/hostess stand to the manager Noel, Orions is an experience you do not want to miss. The most incredible sushi and other dishes. A wonderful experience. We’ll be back !!!!!

Food was cold. Prime Rib tasted like a stick of butter. Not good. Very disappointed. We will never go there again. Wasn’t worth it. Spent $419 for 5 people. The cost wasn’t the issue. It was the quality. Extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately the ambience did not match the experience.We waited 20 minutes after being seated before being approached by our server.After receiving drinks it was another 15 before giving our food order.Our appetizers while very tastefully prepared arrived warm not hot ,something inexcusable when one of the items was fried. Our entrees were also delivered by food runners and while the entree of Halibut was hot ,the kale as well as the sweet potatoes were tepid. As a restaurant who promotes itself as an extraordinary culinary experience its execution falls far from the mark. While our server was extraordinarily pleasant it did not compensate for her inattentiveness.Perhaps they were short staffed for the holiday but I was underwhelmed by our experience.
