This was my second time coming to this restaurant and unfortunately the experience was very different compared to the first one. We ordered 3 appetizers, the wild mushroom, the prime beef tartare, and the ossobuco croquetas, two main courses, the House Picanha and Grilled Lamb Chops, and a side of Bone Marrow. Let’s start by saying that everything was over-spiced. The tartare was not a tartare, but almost a pâté mixed with spices and different ingredients. The taste was good but the meat was completely covered by different flavors. The ossobuco croquetas were good, very intense flavor (how could you go wrong with small fried balls of braised ossobuco?). The wild mushroom should be renamed to “wild mushroom soup”, because honestly we were not expecting to receive a bowl of legit liquid with some mushrooms and a poached egg in the middle. The House Picanha was the best thing in my opinion, still very spiced (lots of pepper). On the other hand the lamb chops (which I had the first time I went there and I liked very much—reason why I recommended them) were a total disaster. The meat was overcooked and dry. The spices completely took over the dish and all the garnish created a real mess on the plate. Not recommended. And leaving the best for last… the bone marrow. Disastrous. Almost nauseating. How can you serve a whole side of plain, unsalted, bone marrow without some kind of bread to eat it with? If you try (and please don’t), you could realistically have to go spit it out. Then, when we asked for some bread, they brought us 4 tiny pieces of oily, fried-looking bread that—as you can imagine—DEFINITELY did not go well with the super oily and fatty texture of the bone marrow. We ended up not finishing it, what a waste. To conclude, and this is just a note to the restaurant, when a client asks for a bottle of still water, that you restaurant obviously sell for the modest price of $10, I think it would be decent to ask if they want more, before opening the second one.

This meal was one of the best we can remember!! It was an absolute highlight of our vacation, and I cannot recommend it enough. The service was also excellent, and the ambiance was trendy and well done.

We had a really good meal the meats are great the empanadas are out of this world. If I have to said something not positive is that it’s a bit overpriced.
