This was probably the worst dining experience I’ve had in my 5 years living in Philadelphia. We had an 8:30pm reservation and they badly over booked. There were about 4 large groups of 8:30 reservations literally standing around for 30-45 minutes blocking the front door and restaurant traffic. We finally get sat and long and behold there was “restaurant drama” between staff and the restaurant owner and our waitress was fired! We found this out by flagging someone down because we had been sitting there looking around to order for 20 minutes… All of this sitting around to get food that was not good at all. We both ordered a beet salad, very un-flavorful, even the burrata cheese had no flavor. Ragu gnocchi was also not great. My salmon was dry as a desert but the sauce helped some. First and absolutely last time dining here, surprised the reviews were so good. Would make a tiktok about it but don’t want to destroy someones business, thats how bad it was.

We had a 7:30 reservation on a Saturday night. Restaurant was very crowded with several large parties. We weren’t seated until after 8 and tables were quite close (probably due to reconfiguration for larger parties..) and very noisy. Despite, not getting off to a great start, the staff were all friendly, hardworking and efficient. The food was excellent. I would definitely try it again, just maybe not at a prime time on Saturday night!

The staff was absolutely wonderful. One person in our party is handicapped and they went above and beyond. Gave us a close table that had plants of room. Thank you so much

The food was cold and the valentine prefixe menu was lack luster. They served us pasta on the side and it was cold and the only thing that was hot on my plate was the spinach and that was the best part of the chicken and shrimp lemon saffron dish . We left unsatisfied .

Vibe check! The food was solid—nothing mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable. They had a set menu for Valentine’s Day, which worked out fine. Portions were generous, and the restaurant itself had a lovely ambiance. Our waiter, Clint, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The presentation of the dishes could’ve been a bit more refined, but overall, it was a nice Italian spot in the heart of downtown. Parking was manageable—found street parking, and there’s a lot on the corner. Bonus: it’s BYOB with no corkage fee! The restaurant has two floors, and the upstairs section has a slightly more charming vibe. While it’s not a place I’d rush back to, it’s definitely worth trying at least once. 4/5.

The scallops had the chemical metallic taste of previously frozen scallops. Other then that the food was fantastic, great sauces.

The ambience and the food was delicious. The penne pasta and the mushroom risotto with shrimp was out of this world. The calamari was one of the best calamari that I’ve had in a long while the fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. I wished my eggplant Parmesan was a little bit Center, as I saw the chicken Parm was very flat. That’s just how I like it. Our server Clint was exceptional. I would definitely tell people to visit this restaurant and I can’t wait to return myself. The BYOB was perfect.
