Osteria Costa at MGM National Harbor is a casual reprieve where guests will enjoy a variety of wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, fresh seafood and Italian spirits. Each day, a fresh assortment of limoncello will be crafted in-house available to be poured neat, or as part of a refreshing cocktail. The wine program will reflect the southern coast of Italy and celebrate vines from the region. Osteria Costa’s vibrant design exudes the class and comfort of the Amalfi Coast with bright colors and rustic touches reminiscent of the picturesque villages clung to the Italian coastline. The coastal Italian menu includes classic favorite like beef carpaccio, meatballs and ravioli as well as Bucatini Cacio E Pepe and Shrimp Spaghetti. Guests can opt to dine in the restaurant’s modern interior or al fresco in the garden patio which overlooks MGM National Harbor’s Conservatory.

We made 5:30pm reservations on Open Table, but when we arrived we were told the restaurant closed at 5pm on Sundays. This should not have been made available to resetve.

My friend and I enjoyed dinner at Osteria Costa before attending a concert at MGM. We were greeted with such warmth by the hostess, Laura, and her staff who found us at the (lovely) bar when our table was ready. Our server Vince was professional and friendly! He remembered everything we requested without writing anything down, which is always impressive to me. Now for the food…delicioso! Each item we ordered, from appetizers to dessert, was perfection. If we hadn’t been so full, we would have had seconds! I can’t wait to visit again!

Staff very friendly and polite. Our server Mohammed was very accommodating to all our requests and attentive. We went on a Saturday evening and it seemed they were short staffed for the volume of customers. I heard the hostess turn away people without a reservation saying it was completely booked but we were there for an hour and a half and there were always empty tables around us. There is a 15 minute window for reserved tables so it was odd to see openings with people being turned away. The food was good, basic - neither fair nor excellent. Took a while to arrive but we were not in a rush, and arrived hot. The menu could have more vegetable or non meat options. And limited if you don’t eat pork or shellfish. Lots of pizza and spaghetti options reasonably priced. The halibut and the salmon were pricey around $40 so just go for the steak! A glass of wine $12-$16. The ambiance is trendy open with high ceilings. Nice. Only one restroom for men and one for women so a line waiting to go to the bathroom! Odd for a restaurant of that size at the MGM! I would recommend this location if one is going to a show as the theater is directly opposite. Also a fun place to meet friends for a leisurely and casual dinner. We were 4 and each ordered a pasta dish, total of 4 glasses of wine, one Margherita, one Cesar salad and paid approximately $50 per person.

The restaurant was closed. I made the reservation, went to MGM and…. The restaurant was closed… very disappointing!!!

The calamari was tender and had just enough well-seasoned breading. The halibut on top of risotto and mushrooms was magnificent. Perfect texture and delicious seasonings. My husband enjoyed his strip steak. Our server, Dominique, was outstanding. If the menu were not so limited, we would return sooner than later, if at all.

This restaurant has improved dramatically since reopening. The pastas are absolutely first-rate.

My experience tonight was absolutely horrible. I had a 7 o’clock reservation to celebrate Valentine’s Day and we arrive within the grace period time “7:15pm” due to traffic and we called around 6:45 to inform the establishment of our ETA. The hostess stated she was the one that had spoken to me on the phone and that we would be seated shortly that was at 7:38pm. The hostesses did not communicate with each other and we kept having to seek out an update from them. They were not accommodating and very unprofessional. We were told several times that we would be seated shortly. We decided to sit at the bar to pass the time. The hostesses came over to us to tell us they were ready then walked away and never came back and that was around 8pm. This is unacceptable and we left and then got a text at 8:05 that the table was now ready when no one relayed to us there was a wait or things were behind. This was a horrible experience and we will not be back. This almost put a damper on our nights as we had more plans that evening. I never got the chance to speak to a manager or anything one of the bartenders tried to help but was unsuccessful and stated that she tried to get an ETA for us but it was a fail. I strongly recommend trying somewhere else.
