Osteria Giulia sprung to life in our imaginations as a tribute to Italian traditions of the past.

We wanted to create one simple, beautiful thing. Somewhere outside of your busy life, outside of your surroundings, outside of time. An environment, an experience, an entire evening.

Osteria Giulia is intimate, warm and familiar. We’ve revelled in her every detail. We’ve established a rarified menu focusing on Northern Italian cuisine and delicate coastal, Mediterranean flavour.

Giulia is a new imagining of what an Italian restaurant can be. It always was the place of our dreams, the reason for our collaboration, and the culmination of—and conduit for—our collective passion.

Rossi’s take on Ligurian-inspired dishes like hand-braided pasta with wild squid is equal parts fresh and refined and exudes the same understated elegance as the restaurant’s serene Yorkville dining room.

    Dinner here was a really wonderful treat - very tasty and a nice busy vibe. The food was elegant and beautifully presented. Tons of kitchen and very attentive wait staff. Highly recommended for a special occasion treat!

    We have been waiting to dine at Osteria Giulia for a year and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the service exceptional. A must try dining experience. The portions are very generous and the wine list is extensive.

    The service was beyond. My expectation or service was absolutely excellent. However, we sat next to a table that was extremely noisy and we could barely even hear ourselves talking. Not once did management or anybody ask them to quiet down. I found it a little disturbing.

    This is my second time dining here and it did not disappoint. I will come back again. The service was incredible (Santiago). The food even better. 10/10 recommend.

    My friend and I sat at the bar because we could not get a reservation in the dining room. The bartender was giving his colleague bartender a lesson in front of us on how to pour liquor into a jigger, could have been done somewhere else, very narrow bar, was distracting, we tried to ignore them. Food was good. We felt pushed along with the evening, had to order everything at once, I knew then we were going to be rushed. We were there 90 minutes only with apps and entrees. When the plates left, the bill came. Before we even paid the hostess was standing behind us with our coats letting us know you have eaten, paid and now go! Not a good evening out for a Micheline Star Experience!

    Food and drinks are absolutely amazing. Santiago is absolutely genius. He’s really wonderful and kind and warm hearted.

    Great overall service and attention to detail. Staff were accommodating and food was presented beautifully. Drinks were also of good quantity and value.
