Giorgio Pierangeli, Owner and Founder of Pecorino Restaurant, has partnered with Celebrity Chef Nicola Mastronardi to bring an authentic Italian Osteria dining experience to one of the oldest and most iconic buildings in Brentwood. Osteria Vera offers a cozy yet upscale setting. The menu is a testament to Italian culinary excellence, featuring homemade pasta, regional specialties, grilled or roasted meats, pizza, and fish.
Both Giorgio Pierangeli and Nicola Mastronardi are graduates of culinary schools in Italy and have honed their skills in some of the finest establishments across Italy, Europe, and the USA. Don’t go for a special occasion unless. I planned ahead to take my family to celebrate a birthday at a place where I thought we would be made to feel welcome. We weren’t even acknowledged on the way out. While the food was okay, it wasn’t memorable. Pasta dishes were a bit stuck and overcooked? As soon as it was clear that we weren’t going to order alcoholic drinks, the server disappeared and dropped the check without a thank you or good night. I would have hoped for a small recognition of the special occasion. Please note that my parents were visiting from abroad where occasions are acknowledged and celebrated. I left embarrassed and regretted the choice of restaurant.
