   The Crispy Otra Calamar (small plates) is fabulous as is the Otra Crispy Chicken (large plates) but when they say large plates, they mean large (more than you can eat). You could easily split it between two people and leave room for desert. We will return!

   Otra is a real gem. It's fairly new and somewhat undiscovered, but it's become difficult to get a table on the weekends, so word is getting out. Extensive menu. Fabulous wines. Terrific food. We went twice last week! A bit expensive, so we'll have to curb our enthusiasm.

   One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. This was a return visit for me and the first experience for the rest of my party. All agreed that the food and service were exceptional. We’ll be back soon.

   The breads they brought to start with whipped milk and garlic, assorted olives and Marcona almonds were a perfect starter. We were sticking with tapas and salad so ordered the ham croquettes (crispy and flavorful), the ratatouille (great smoky flavor), the caramelized onion with blue cheese (silky and tasty), the arugula, apple and manchego salad (perfectly balanced) and the fish and chips (so light and crispy). The wine Azul y Garanza Viural was dry and crisp. Dessert was the caramel ice cream - mmm. David our server went above and beyond and made the evening really wonderful. The ambiance was just right. Good music but not intrusive and the room was lively but not too loud. 5 stars!

   The tapas were excellent and if we were to go back (we won’t) we would just stick to the tapas menu. We sat at 7, received a quick welcome from the server who poured our waters and then we didn’t see her again for 20 minutes. At that point we ordered food and drinks and then waited again we didn’t receive our drinks until we were done with our 3rd round of tapas, and we had to ask the manager for the drinks at that time. The paella was mushy and under seasoned. There was ZERO soccarat (the crispy rice at the bottom). That felt like a big miss but the rest of the food was tasty. In summary, good tapas, bad service, not worth going back.

   We had to rush our meal a bit because we were late and had to get to a show. However, we had such a great experience and the food was delicious.
