   Young waitstaff not very attentive, forgot several things. Food was ok but not great with the exception of the lamb and the pasta was delicious. Otherwise both chicken and fish were dry. Would not return.

   Great dinner with our daughters and her friends while visiting Colby (Go mules!). Oysters were excellent and salads are huge. Filet was good and chicken dishes were all excellent. Really liked the green beans as well. Nice wine options by the glass or bottle. Nice place not too far from campus.

   We love Otto’s! It has been our go to restaurant for a few years now. The service is great and the food amazing!

   Wish that you would not have asked. Guinness was not cold, steaks were overcooked. Lobster was overcooked. The restaurant could not prove a credit card so we paid by cash. Rough experience.

   Otto’s on the River is a must dine when I go home to visit the family. The food is always spectacular and the atmosphere cozy. New Year’s Eve of all nights they had a computer glitch with reservations. It was managed with grace. The Otto’s Crab Dip is amazing!

   Excellent Christmas dinner, I had the prime rib and my had the stuff fish. Everything was excellent, no waiting and the wait staff was extraordinary!!!

   First time to Otto's. Delicious food, amazing waiter-prob the best waitstaff we have had in years. Will definately be going back!

   The pros: lovely location and decor. Comfortable seating. Engaged owner. Filet mignon was delicious, as were scallops wrapped in bacon. Cons: extremely slow and inept service. I say this as someone who has served in all kinds of restaurants for decades. We simply did not feel taken care of. Escargot was rubbery and bland, bones in the salmon.

    Amazing find on our way from Bangor to Portland. Stopped for lunch and had amazing oysters and first lobster roll! Cocktails very creative and tasty and service was awesome.
